Muhikal Faqar (Qalan)

In addition, by saying the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb at the time of death, [the human being] becomes safe against Satan [because Kalimah-e-Tayyeb is the shield (Hisaar ) against Satan]. Moreover, this Kalimah-e-Tayyeb is the escutcheon against the fire of the Hell and this is the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb, which leads unto the Garden (of Eternity). Hence, every Ilm [of world] is built-in in the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb.

[O Real-Seeker! now I tell you that] what are the meanings of (the Arabic word) Ilm? Al Ilm means 'to know'. What thing 'to know'? Knowing that thing, which was [first of all] known by the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam. What thing was known by the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam? His highness came to know the beginning and the end of the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb, the Zikr of Allah, the Marifat of God, Liking for Lord and the Faqar-e-Ikhtiyari and all that, which was enjoined upon by God Almighty. And the Holy Prophet of Allah Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam also came to know the animosity against Nafs , opposition against Dunya (World), opposition against Kufr and opposition against Satan.

[Hence, O True-Seeker] I feel surprise about those Aalimaan Bey-Amal , who believe knowing the Ilm of-Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam Kaj (thwarting and wry) [whereas believe knowing the knowledge of world obligatory]. And that they have been following [the practices] of Nafs , Dunya (World) and Satan the people of transgression with absolute sincerity (and single-mindedness) and keep sincerity (and single-mindedness) with Kuffaar who have not lifted their feet with Haq because they have preferred the Course of the Baatil . We seek refuge in Allah against this!

[Thus, O True-Seeker ] Ilm has relation with human being and being a human being is very difficult. And the Aalim is [also] a human being. [Someone has said truth that 'Muslims have gone in graves and Islam is in books].

[Near Sufis,] there are two Ilm of human being. One of these is "and taught man that which he knew not" (96:5) and the second Ilm is "And He taught Adam all the names" (2:31). Thus, he who has revealed these two Ilm, has the whole Ilm and Ilm is his companion. Moreover, what Ilm is other than this that it is just a fine Nukta ! Ilm is Muhaqaq only when it is accompanied by the Marifat of God and Practice (Amal ), not otherwise. Mentors (Mu'allam ) are countless. Therefore, even amongst the hypocrites and Zandeeq (atheist) nations are many hidden Aalim Faazil people for example the Rafizi and Kharijis [but] they cannot be called Aalim in the Ilm .
