And
Ilm also is of two kinds. One has relation with the Outward and relation
of the other is with the Inward . Since the Ilm-of-Outward (Outwardly
Ilm
) is related with the Nafs and the Nafs is related with
the Aqal-e-Juzve and the relation of the Ilm-of-Inward (Inwardly Ilm)
is with the Ruh of Arif-Bi-Allah
, therefore, the relation of the Ruh
is with the Aqal-e-Kulli . Hence, the Aalim of Ruh
(Aalim e Roohani)
has dominance over the Aalim of Nafs
(Aalim e Nafsani). What opportunity
the [Aalim of] Nafs has to gasp in front of the Aalim of Ruh?
(He has not) because the Aalim of Nafs is under the Aalim of Ruh.
Thus, what is the Aalim e Nafsani and who is the Aalim e Roohani?
The Aalim e Nafsani is he, whose sitting is in the company of the People
of Carcass Nafs that is, with the hearts of Nasoot which are
heedless unto the Exercise (of preoccupation) with Allah and the Zikr
of Allah and are unaware about the Marifat of Lord and the Purity of Inward
. Moreover,
Aalim e Roohani is he, who always has the Majlis of every Holy
Prophet Alaihis-Salaam and
the Aulia-Allah and he
should be Arif-Bi-Allah and should be one, who gives every accurate news
of the Inwardly Majlis
. His heart should be all the time busy in the
Hymn of the Zikr of Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu
Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah:
there is none worthy of worship except Allah; Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah
(Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam). However,
Faqeer Arif is he, who should be Aalim of both the Ilm-of-Outward
and the Ilm-of-Inward because both Uloom have the
significance of wings and limbs for the Saalik . And whoso, who is ignoramus
about these both kinds of Ilm , is ignoramus concerning the Marifat
of Haq
. Now I tell you that by adopting which Course
[the human being]
can become the Arif-Bi-Allah . First, is the favor of Lord,
second is the conferment from the Murshid and (third) is the Purity
of Inward
. [And] Murshid-e-Kaamil is called that person, who fills
up the (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact) of the Visualization
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) in one Damm (Breath). The time, he becomes
Arif-Bi-Allah , he makes his heart right, clear and opens the Eye of Inward
through the Outward Eye of the head so much so all the four 'eyes'
start seeing through single eyesight (and vision). [And this
action is not accomplished without the Inwardly Tawajuh of the Murshid].
Since the Station of heart is the Wajdaani (conscientious and
Inward) Realm that is known as the Ain-ul-Ayani , at this Station,
the Ilm-of-Outward and the Ilm-of-Inward
and all the Uloom that
pertain to these both Uloom, all become clear and are known. When the Station
of heart Wajdaani the Ain-ul-Ayani turns bright like
sun inside the Madinah-tul-Qalb , the rising light is produced in brain because
the Sirr e Subhaani is inside the brain and head which is called the 'Bait
ul Roohani
(Chamber of Spirit)'. Whoso, who reaches unto this Sirr ,
is the Sirr of the Sirr
of God. Hence, that person, who reaches unto the
Sirr of God, remains in the Mushahida of the Noor of Lord and Drowned in the Anwaar
