True-Seeker!] Be informed that 'Muhik ul Faqar' 
In the name of Allah

Almighty
says:
to mankind]: if you love
Allah, follow me (),

Raza but O Muhammad
! I
am desirous for your Raza. Darood and
Salaam of Allah
Almighty be upon him, his
Progeny, his Holy Companions Radhi-ya-Allahu
Ta-aala Anhum
and
his all Household.
[Touchstone of whole Faqar] is
the name given to this book. [Hence, O Dervish!] He, who is in Shariyat
, he is called the Master of Shariyat and [the Saints] have declared
two Outwardly Tareeq
(Ways) in Shariyat. Follower of one way
has been given the name the Master of Fatwa and the follower of the
other way has been given the name the Master of Taqwa . He, who
enters Tareeqat , is called the Master of Tareeqat and he, who
enters Haqeeqat , he is called the Muhaqaq and he, who enters Marifat
, he is called Arif . (In addition,) Whoso, who covers all these four
Stages and subjugates all the four (kinds of) the Nafs and leaves
the temperament of the Four-Elements , that is, the Nafsaniyat
(sensuality and corporality),
