MASNAVI (COUPLETS OF GREAT SPIRITUAL MEANINGS)

That thing, which keeps you unattached with Allah Almighty, is this sordid Dunya (World),

And that thing, which leads you unto Allah Almighty; is the cultivation field for the Heaven,

Allah Almighty has honored Faqar with respect and reverence,

And Ahmed Mujtaba Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said: Faqar is my pride.

Be informed well [O Real-Seeker !] Farz (Obligation) is of two kinds. Name of one is 'Periodic Obligation' and of the other is 'Perpetual Obligation'. Period Obligation is Assalaat (Prayers), Fasting and Hajj and Zakaat and the Perpetual Obligation is the Zikr of Allah Almighty and the Mushahida of the Marifat of Lord. Keep Perpetual Obligation dominating, keep the Periodic Obligation managed and wait to offer it from one time to the next due. And the Secret of the Zikr of Lord is with Assalaat (Prayers) and Zikr cannot be Secret without Assalaat (Prayers) and rather [without it] is just loss of time and wastage of your precious life.

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Time is a bloodthirsty (and decisive) Sword [which slashes everything].

[Hence] Shariyat is the Course and the Holy Quran of Lord is the Uncreated. The Name Allah is the Hidayat . [O True-Seeker !] A person does not become Muslim by recitation of the Holy Quran, exercising Riyazat and Worship and by [just] saying the Name of Allah Almighty unless he believes in the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and reads the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb with True heart.

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

First Obligation in all Obligations is the Zikr of Allah. Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah/there is none worthy of worship except Allah; Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam).

First is the Zikr of Allah, therefore, Allahu Akbar Takbeer e Tahreema comes first in Azaan as well as in Obligatory Assalaat.
