And
that is Taqwa which shuts the Outward Senses down and does not pick
anything besides Haq
. [And] that person wears the raiment of Taqwa
,
who drinks the goblet of the Noor of the Marifat of Lord by the Wahdaniyyat
of Haq. Mard gets power through such Taqwa. Taqwa is the Hazoori
of the Inward Haq and the Outwardly Taqwa is the manual
labor of the creatures and pride of the Nafs-e-Ammara as is the
resultant of the Outwardly Taqwa and the Inward is unaware
of the Taqwa (in this case). Outward Taqwa invites hubbub
and fame of name and popularity and egotism. Nafs-e-Ammara grows sturdy
and active and gives Riya and Kufr in hand and Shirk swaddles
and Satan
becomes his host and Dunya (World) becomes kind (and
affectionate). Ruh becomes seared (and miffed) and the Nafs-e-Lawwama,
Nafs-e-Mulhimma
and Nafs-e-Mutmainna turn perplexed (and puzzled) in the
said conditions. And that person, who exercises Inwardly Riyazat
,
in his body rises the sun of the Marifat of God and his Nafs-e-Ammara
is ruined and (ultimately) dies and Ruh becomes Living (and active)
and the Nafs-e-Mulhimma accepts Sidq (Truth) and the Nafs-e-Mulhimma
gives him peace of Qalb and the Nafs-e-Mutmainna accepts worship
(with consent). All these Maratib are of Taqwa . The Muttaqi
(Pious) Master of Marifat is Roshan-Zamir Arif-Bi-Allah . When
Faqar reaches unto its extremity (and entirety), that is Allah. The Nafs-e-Ammara
of the Muttaqi Faqeer is free from desires of Nafs and Ruh
gets Baqaa with God Almighty. Allah is sufficient; everything
other than Allah is just
lust (and greed)! Whoso, who reaches onto these Maratib,
is Jaan Majmooa e Jaan and rather Both-the-Worlds shower life on him
because the Majmooa e Jaan is Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee
Wa-sallam and these Maratib are
called Fanaa-Fi-Noor-of-Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam (Destroyed in Noor-of-Muhammad) Fanaa-Fi-Noor-of-Allah
(Destroyed in
Noor
of Allah).
And he, who reaches unto the Fanaa-Fi-Noor-of-Allah (Destruction in Noor
of
Allah), becomes the example of 'whosoever entered in it is safe' (3:97) and becomes
unified (and incomparable) with these Maratib of Aulia "Lo!
Verily friends of Allah
are (those) on whom fear (comes) not, nor do they
grieve". (10:62) because his gaze
is upon the Deity of Worship and he is
free of defects and sins and he does not gaze
upon Both-the-Worlds [that
is, he pays no heed to both the kingdoms]. This is the way of the Secrets of
the Divine Mysteries of the Arif-Bi-Allah !
