Muhikal Faqar (Qalan)

It should be known that what is called Nafs and what is Qalb and what thing is Ruh and what address has been given to the Sirr ? Thus, the likeness of the Nafs-e-Ammara which is like dog, hog, bear, serpent, scorpion, donkey and bull, the Nafs-e-Ammara is identified according to its action which proves its love unto a thing like greed, lust, vindictiveness, grudge, untruthfulness, vanity and pride. And the Ruh is identified as the Order of Allah Almighty as the Holy Messengers (of Allah) Alaihimus-Salaam and the Great Aulia have accepted all Orders of Allah Almighty and the Sirr , by the curtain at the door of the harem of the Mysteries of Marifat of Lord. This Marifat and Muhabbat comes in the share of the People of Irfaan and Aashiqeen .

BAYT (COUPLET)

Do you know that what Ishq is? Lo! It is the name of one's killing his Nafs ,

Day and night his [heart] remains in ache and heart remains wounded by it.

O Dervish! Think! Mind (and apprehensiveness) is for Almighty Haq, not for son and naan. Therefore,

Allah Almighty says: and there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof depends on Allah (11:6)

Allah Almighty says: We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world, and raised some of them above others in rank (43:32)

Allah Almighty says: Lo! Allah! He is That gives livelihood, Lord of unbreakable might (51:58)

Allah Almighty says: and in the heaven is your providence and that which you are promised (51:22)

Allah Almighty says: And how many an animal here is that bears not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower (29:60)
