Hikmat
(philosophy) in this is this that they are the People
of Nafs and the Station of Nafs is Dunya (World). Thus,
these people want nothing else but the advancement of this world. And the Station
of heart is the Next World. [Therefore,] the People of heart
always keep the Nafs under severe punishment (and castigation) and since
the Station of Ruh is the Liking for Lord His
highness the writer [of this book, Sultan-ul-Arifeen
Hazrat
Bahu ? That
person, who keeps Friendship with Allah
Almighty, does not keep Friendship
with Dunya (World) and that person, who keeps Friendship with the
Dunya (World), cannot be the Friend of Allah
Almighty. In
addition, that person, who has grumblings for the Dunya (World), Dunya
(World) does not enter his house. And the Course
of Faqar and
the Marifat of Lord Allah
Almighty And
by the half-a-step (Neem Qadam) is meant getting honored with the Liqaa
of the Lord of Worlds FARD (INDIVIDUAL
COUPLET)
Those
who See [Him], they keep their gaze
fixed on Allah
Almighty, They
curse upon the wealth of the Dunya (World), its liking and pomp
and glitter. 
, [therefore, the ache and Muhabbat
(Cordiality and Affection) is in the heart of this group].

Sirru-hul Aziz
] says:
is
at two and half-a-step ahead. That is, lifted one step from the [Realm
of] Azal and set it on the head of the Dunya (World). And lifted
the second step from the Dunya (World) and set it on the head of the Uqba
(Sequel) and crossed across the Pul-Siraat in the arena of the Day
of Decision in the Hereafter and reached at the Gate to the Garden
(of Eternity).
says: Enter you
among My bondmen! Enter you in My garden! (89:29-30)

. Every
that person reaches onto this half a step that kills the Nafs by
tearing it in two halves by the Sword of
Taufeeq of the Secret of the Sustainer of Worlds. And the Secret [Raaz of
the Provider
] is better
than Riyazat . What is Raaz (Secret) and what is Riyazat ?
Raaz (Secret) is the Jamiyat with the Jamaal [of the Friend]
and Riyazat is related to the Rujuaat-e-Khalq -a Rijat
and disturbance (Khalal ) in desire for the shrine and Khanqah and
(Maratib of) Dunya
(World). But the gaze
of the Master of Raaz is upon
Allah
Almighty as he is free from the Liking for the pomp and pride and
degrees of the world. Faqar is a Course, which is a Secret
of the Mysteries of Allah
Almighty and the Master of Raaz
(Secret)
is familiar with it.
