MASNAVI (COUPLETS OF GREAT SPIRITUAL MEANINGS)

O Son! Get freedom and remain free,

For how long will you remain in the captivity of gold-and-silver?

He, whose dress is torn because of the Ishq ,

He became free of the desire and lust and all vices,

He parted from his self, who spoke with God Almighty,

He became tongue-less no matter even if he utters many voices!

BAYT (COUPLET)

His Zikr becomes the Hazoori of the Mazkoor ,

The body of the Arifeen becomes Noor .

Hazrat Abu Darda Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu reports that the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that the first thing, which will be placed in the Balance of the Amaal (Deeds) of a person, is the best morals and benevolence (with the people). The time, Allah Almighty the Great and the Glorious created Eimaan (Faith and belief), the Eimaan respectfully said that 'O my Lord! Make me powerful'. Thus, Allah Almighty strengthened it by the best moral conduct and benevolence with people. And when Allah Almighty created Kufr (disbelief), the Kufr said that 'O my Lord! Strengthen me with Bukhal (niggardliness) and bad conduct'. [Thus,] the Holy God made it strong with niggardliness and poor conduct.

Writher [the Sultan-ul-Faqar Hazrat Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe] says that if a Dirham (penny) was in the possessions of a Faqeer upon his death, it means that he was niggardly person and had not trust in Allah Almighty. That Dirham should be made red in fire [on the day of Doom] and the forehead of the Faqeer should be stamped with it so that he should not left 'clean' from the People-of-Dunya .

It is a famous parable that once Hazrat Bayazid Bastami Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe faced some Khatraat while offering Optional Assalaat (Prayers). He left Prayers unfinished and said that 'O friends! I feel smell Dunya (World) from our house today'.
