Contentedness and made the face of lust similar to the dust of reproach.
Second day, wrath drove the swift and hot-tempered horse in the ground of audaciousness.
Due to its dread spread a great fear and much Waham (delusion) in
the division (of the army) of the Ilm and Shariyat and no one
dared to advance ahead to counter it. At last, Ilm asked permission and
entered the arena of valor. It
is strange that that strategy which wrath chose; it injured its own every organ
(and affiliate). It happened up to this extent that it did not saw its organ
intact. Fell unconscious and lost its life in rue and Forbearance returned
successful and victorious. Next the incompetent ignorance showed its
face at distance and opened the gate of victory on the forehead of Ilm.
Same like this, the intrepid-devotees of both sides set their steps in the
battlefield, fought with each other. All divisions (of forces) of the Ilm
and Shariyat stood dominant (and victorious) and the line of Nafs
and Satan
was defeated. When a long period passed in this state, one day, the Nafs
arranged and equipped an army. Ilm and Shariyat were both present. Advanced
and competed. After heavy fighting and killing, Satan
ran away and Nafs came
in captivity of Shariyat . It was shackled and brought in the court of king
of Aqal
(wisdom). King of wisdom decreed that if it gives up Kufr
and defiance and becomes Muslim
with solid determination, he will spare its
life and will treat it with kindness otherwise will hand it over to the
executioners of Fanaa (Destruction) to finish it and will secure the Madinah-tul-Qalb
against its mischief (and evil). Thus, Nafs repented and said Kalimah-e-Shahadat
and chose obedience. When the king of Aqal
(wisdom) received this news, he
honored the Nafs-e-Ammara with the title of [Nafs e] Mutmainna .
Thenceforth, the king of Aqal
(wisdom) seated on the throne of the Madinah-tul-Qalb
without any interference of outsiders and free of the insurgency of every
insurgent and started rule of law and justice and welfare of subjects. One day,
he was traveling and was on walk on the Course of the Selk-Salook
that he noticed that still there were thorns and barbs and other anti-Shariyat
things on the Course
of God Almighty. He took the groom of the Nafi
from the schools of thought and ordered to make them attentive unto Hidayat
with a blow of fire of anger and wrath. Hence, demanded Ilm and Shariyat
to appear and asked them to instruct the architects of Hidayat to restore
and induce life into those structures which had become totally deserted by of
the treason of Nafs and defeat of its hosts.
