Muhikal Faqar (Qalan)

If some person wills that his heart should become totally Roshan-Zamir , clear like mirror, Jehaan-Numa (seer) of every World and Inwardly luminous, then first of all, he should grow Muhabbat (cordiality) and Demand in heart and remove the lust of Dunya (World), Kufr , Nifaaq , Riya , arrogance, enmity, resentment and anger and the thorns and weeds like these.

At the Station of Hairat and Warning-lesson (with example) and in order to get the fear of God and His Qurb is the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam).

All the time day and night, in dream and wakefulness, in Masti and Conscientiousness (and observance), he should remain engaged in the Zikr-e-Qalbi . Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam). Same as the Outward purity and cleanliness of dress is prerequisite for offering Assalaat (Prayers), same like this the Purity of heart is by the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah (Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam). The (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact) of the Zikr-e-Qalbi through Kalimah is this that the bad accounts and illusions (and misgivings) and Khatraat should remain totally away of heart and the Outsider unwanted thorns and bushes should not remain in heart because (the Zaakir ) sweeps by the groom of Kalimah of the Zikr of Lord all around all the time and a new Mushahida is seen every hour. That person, his heart has become Clean and Pure (holy) in this way, is called Zaakir-e-Dawaam who keeps vigil (the nightlong) and always keeps Fast (Qaim-ul-Lail and Saim-ud-Dahar ). Absolute sincerity (and single-mindedness) is in his Ruh and he is the one who is coercive on Nafs . Such person does not remain free from the Outwardly and Inwardly Worship.

[O Real-Seeker !] Be informed that man's body is like a well and heart like water and the Khatraat and neglectfulness and the absence pf Zikr is [as if] a dead mouse in it. Hence, first of all the dead mouse of heedlessness should be taken out of the well and then he should fetch out 20 or 30 buckets of water (and throw away) in accordance with Sacred Shara'a (Code of Islam) and that bucket is the proof (of presence) of the Outsiders of Allah. What fear of Muhaasba can be to the water of well thence? In short, the lustrous steel removes rust and the darkness of bad blood. That price, which gold commands, does not command steel although what steel can do cannot be done by gold. Ilm is like gold and the sword of steel is like the Zikr of Lord that one kills the Nafs in one blow with the Sword of the Zikr!
