FARD (INDIVIDUAL COUPLET)

Straight Path cannot be followed in the Course of Tauheed if one has two Qiblah ,

You can either win the Gladness (and accreditation) of the Friend or fulfill the desire of your Nafs .

Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Man's life is by the Ruh and of the Ruh is by wisdom and of the wisdom is by Ilm and of the Ilm is by Amal.

TABQAAT [STAGES] OF ILM

It should be in knowledge that Ilm is divided into five Tabqaat (Stages).

First Stage was Arabic: in the time of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam, Ilm was in abundance and Amal too was in abundance.

Second Stage was in the time of the Holy Companions Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhum after the departure of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam when Ilm was not in abundance but Amal was a lot. Because first of all Slave needs the Ilm of Tauheed and Marifat . When one has found it (and) made it unfailing (and solid), then he should go for the Demand for Shariyat because the Ilm of Tauheed and Marifat is the Asal (origin and root) and the Ilm of Shariyat is its branch and the structure is fixed on the origin (and root) of the branch. In the even thereof, the Holy Prophets Alaihimus-Salaam invited the mankind unto Tauheed prior to every other thing.

It has been written in the Risalah Abul Lais that Hazrat Shaikh Shafiq Balkhi Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe was respectfully asked that what is Eimaan , Tauheed , Marifat , Shariyat and Deen . His highness replied that:

1.                                                                              Eimaan is Iqraar (Declaration) from tongue and Tasdeeq from the deep (heart)

2.                                                                              And as far as Marifat is concerned it has no condition and comparison.

3.                                                                              And as far as Tauheed is concerned, it is Iqraar (Declaration) of the Wahdaniyyat of Allah Almighty.
