Muhikal Faqar (Qalan)

The People of Meanings say that this was addressed to the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and is meant for the Outsider because his highness was wise and that none is God save Him. Hence, said:

Allah Almighty says: We said: And if you are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad) (2:23)

[That is, if you have some doubt in that which We revealed on our (superior) slave (Muhammad) then you should find from those people who have been studying Divine Scriptures before the Holy Quran. Verily! This has been sent from your Lord. You should not be of the doubtful.]

And Hazrat Mujahid Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe says that its meanings are: the superior most Zikr is Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu .

As, the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: The superior most Zikr is Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu.

And Hazrat Ibn e Abbas Radhi-ya-Allah Anhu said that 'there is none besides Allah Almighty who can cause profit and loss, makes one dear and insulted'.

And Hazrat Suhail Radhi-ya-Allah Anhu said that its meanings are these that none save Allah Almighty can bring benefit and damage and there is none besides Him who can block and that is the original Tauheed and Tawakul .

The decree on this phrase is this that the forgiveness (and favor) is for the People of Eimaan and your presence at the place and none is knower of your leaving other than Allah Almighty.

And Hazrat Ibn e Masood Radhi-ya-Allah Anhu reports that 'when you desire forgiveness for you and the People of Eimaan , you should keep your heart present' as:

He who asked for forgiveness but he did not bring his heart in presence with tongue, will not be forgiven.

And heart is creditable. O dear! Ask forgiveness through your heart even if forgiveness is already Decreed as:

That Allah may forgive you of your sins of that which is the past of that which is to come (48:2)
