Ainul Faqar

Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Muhabbat for Deen (Religion) and Liking for Dunya (World) cannot come together in one heart same as fire and water cannot combine in same pot*.

BAYT (COUPLET)

Name of Allah is on tongue while spurious scheme and deceit is in heart,

What effect (and impact) will this Remembrance bring?

Faqeer is he, who shuts his eyes for Both-the-Worlds and sees the Spectacle of the Eighteen Thousand Kingdoms. That is, after turning his face aside of Both-the-Worlds, he should focus all of his attention unto Allah.

[Allah Almighty, referring to the incident of the Ascension of the Holy Prophet said]:

The eye turned not aside nor yet was over bold" (53:17).

[That is, his highness saw many Manifestations of Allah Almighty during the phase of Ascension but even then, nothing could make him unmindful about the Zikr of Allah Almighty. Same like this, the Kaamil Faqeer , although, travels across the entire world but he keeps on doing Zikr all the time.]

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

I seek refuge in Allah against the Faqar that falls down straight (that is, Faqar-e-Mukibb, which makes one needy of world and one loses his attention unto Allah Almighty by this).

O Allah! We seek refuge against the Worldly Faqar! May Allah save us from that Faqar, which bows its head and becomes needy of the People-of-Dunya for the sake of Dunya (World) or from that Faqeer the People-of-Dunya, who keeps a lot of gold-and-silver and money and is neglectful from Allah like Pharaoh and is a miser (niggardly person) like Qaroon and is haughty like Nimrood and is the one, who gives respect to Dunya (World) like the Shaddad!
