BAYT (COUPLET) The Nafs , when faces hunger, becomes like a
dog, And when it is in satiety, it behaves like a donkey. [Thus,
this is the situation of the Nafs] that when it is kept full, it
becomes disobedient and if it is kept hungry then it weeps bitterly
and starts crying (of help). If you mention it God and the Prophet of God Sal
Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam
at the time it perpetrates. In addition, if you make the entire Messengers
(of Allah) , Asfiya (exalted and purified
personalities)
and Aulia and the Righteous the interceders and tell it
the Verses and Ahadees. Moreover, it you show it the fear of
death, the Punishment in grave, the questions of the Munkir-and-Nakir
, the Account (Deed Manifest) and the issues (concepts)
pertaining to principles of Fiqah , the concern of everyone for itself
on the Day of Resurrection, the Beam Balance (Scale) and the Pul-Siraat
and the Heaven and Hell etcetera. This hurtful (Nafs), even then, will not
stop committing that sin nor will it withdraw its hands from wrongdoing except
only when the Taufeeq of Lord and the Waseela of the Murshid-e-Kaamil
accompanies you. The
time, the Seeker inclines unto sin, the Murshid-e-Kaamil surely
gets this news and he becomes a barrier between the sin and the one,
who is of the People of sin. He advises to him by means of Ilhaam ,
or hits him by hand and stops him. That is why, Waseela is better
than Fazeelat and Fazeelat is a neediness for the People of
Nafs whereas the Master of Waseela is free of the want of Fazeelat.
That is the reason the Nafs is dominant over Fazeelat and Waseela
is dominant over Nafs and the Nafs is dominated by it.
Moreover, the parable of the Ilm and Grace is gold-and-silver
and the parable of Waseela is steel, and a sword of steel can rip it (Nafs). ABYAAT (COUPLETS) Ravenous Nafs all the time demands milk and
sugar, It demands throne of (Mughal King) king Jahangir.
