It is said that a Dervish chose hermitage
and kept one Khurma (dried date) for his diet. When he felt hunger and dominated
by irresistible hunger and thirst, he used to boil that date in a pot
and gave one cup to everyone present there. On drinking this, all used to
become full. Fifty years he passed in this way and the date was fully consumed
after this and the Dervish gave his life to his Rightful Lord and
died but he never set his step on the thresholds of the People-of-Dunya
