This Faqeer Bahu
Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe answers to all
Aulia-Allah
that "that person, who does not forget his self in the Mushahida
of his Lord and has not Drowned into Tauheed
, Saadiq (truthful) in his claim (and action) ".
It is reported like this that one day
Hazrat
Bayazid Bastami
Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe and Hazrat
Zunnoon Misri Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe arrived to meet the
Imaam Ul Muslimeen - Hazrat Abu Hanifa Kufi Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe . His highness ordered his
servant to go and clean the dish (Taas) and bring it filled with honey
after putting a hair on the surface honey and present it to these Saints. The
servant followed the order. His highness the Imaam said that "O Saints! Interpret
(and paraphrase) all these three things: Taas (shiny dish), honey and hair".
First of all, Hazrat
Bayazid Bastami Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe said that "The
Heaven of Bounteous God is brighter than this Taas (shiny dish)
and the bounties of the Garden are sweeter than this honey and crossing
of the Pul-Siraat is thinner than this hair". After this Hazrat
Zunnoon
Misri Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe said that "Islam
of God Almighty is brighter than this Taas and being of the People
of Islam is sweeter than this honey and maintenance (and preservation) of
Islam is more delicate than hair". After this, the Imaam e Azam Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe said that "the Ilm
of the Deen is brighter than this Taas, the issues (concepts)
pertaining to principles of Fiqah are sweeter than this honey and
the subtleties (and delicacies) of Ilm are finer than this hair".
After this, he said to his servant that "seeing the face of the guest is shinier
than this Taas, serving the guest is sweeter than this honey and making
the heart of the guest glad is finer than this hair". And the writer of the
book "Naafe ul Muslimeen" says that "getting the honor of seeing the
face of the Aulia-Allah is brighter than this Taas,
having Muhabbat of Lord in heart is sweeter than this
honey and completely abiding by the Shariyat of-Muhammad
Sal
Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam is finer than this hair". Faqeer
Bahu
Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe gives this answer
to all Aulia-Allah , Hazrat
Imaam e Azam , the writer
of the above-mentioned book and the servant. "Enjoying the bounties of
Eden is the practice of the donkey Nafs
, acquiring Ilm that is
not followed by practice is the practice of the ignoramus and unaware,
seeing the face of guest is risky, reaching unto the Muhabbat of Allah
without the involvement of effort is equivalent to poison, and starting
(practicing) Islam without Tasdeeq (verification) is greater Riya .
The Barzukh of the Name Allah is brighter than this Taas
and the taste of the Mushahida of the Wahdaniyyat
is sweeter than this honey and becoming Fanaa-Fi-Allah (Destroyed in Allah ) and coming
out of one's ego (Anaa) [that is, killing-Nafs] is finer than this
hair".
