The overlord of the Universe - the pride
of the beings - Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: "When you are
left flabbergasted in quandaries, you should seek the help of the Ahl e
Qaboor
(People-of-Graves ) [for reinforcement and support]"
And if the Seeker feels fear from
dreadfulness of grave (and does not go near), he is not True-Seeker and
still he have a preference to love for his life. BAYT e BAHU
(Couplet of Bahu
Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe) O heart! I say
you. Listen! Carefully, Embrace the
death and drink the wine of Ishq gladly. [And keep in mind] that Murshid is
he, who is the embodiment of love and Muhabbat, is kind and Privy
(and Insider) of the Divine Mysteries. He has the power of Sword
[for the Seeker]. That Seeker, who wants to behead his Nafs
, should go to the Murshid. Murshid is like a dagger, he,
who wants to slaughter his self by himself; should come before the Murshid.
Murshid is like the Angel of Death for the Seeker. He, who
does not fear loss of life, should come to the Murshid. Murshid
is as the likeness of a house of poor Faqeer. He, who wants to choose hunger
and thirst, should come to the Murshid. Murshid is like gallows
(Sooli). He, who wants to hang on gallows, should
come to Murshid. Murshid is like Fire. He, who has to burn
his Kaafir Nafs
, should come to Murshid. That person, who comes
in front of the Murshid with devotion and absolute sincerity,
should focus on his Muhabbat , not on his goodness or evil
because investigating into the goodness and evil is the practice of a
spy. What concern the Seeker should have with this? It is said here that a Saint had
one thousand Seekers endowed with Maratib. He used to offer Assalaat
(Prayers) on Prayer Carpet laid on river. Someone asked him "how
many of his Seekers were the Masters of Eitiqaad
(on him)". That Saint
asked him to go and probe. That person went to his Seekers for investigation
and told that Saint that out of one thousand, only forty are own
conviction in him. That Saint asked him that how many in the forty. That
person said "twenty".
