The Nafs of the Saint wished to join them in Jihad to become a Ghazi (fighter against infidels). The Saint said to his Nafs that "I know you very well. You want to deceive me because you will demand more food due to the hard and tiring journey or will escape longer worship because of fatigue of journey or will sleep long due to tiresome traveling". The Nafs said "it will not be loss [as I want to become Ghazi]". The Saint said "O irreligious! You are enemy of Lord. What concern you have in becoming Ghazi? Tell me the truth. What interest you really have in it?" The Nafs said "I have been suffering from hardships of hunger and thirst day and night. I have been hurt every breath and every hour by the Sword of the Zikr and Fikr and the Ishq and Muhabbat. Hence, it is much better and the best thing that I should be martyred by one blow of sword in battle with Kuffaar to get rid from this torment".

Hence, Faqeer Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe says that Muhabbat, even of the size of atom, is better than the Hajj (Muslim Pilgrimage), Jihad, Zakaat , Assalaat (Prayers), Nawafil (optional Namaaz) and the entire worship done by the jinn, fairies, demons and human beings. But the True Faqeer should be steadfast (and persistent) and firm in belief on this Path of the Muhabbat and Absolute sincerity with Lord because Kaamil Faqeers have taken them onto the Martaba of Accomplishment by this Ishq and Muhabbat. Their bosom became all rich with the Anwaar of the Tajalliyaat because thousands Divine Mysteries descend upon the heart of the Master of Ishq and Muhabbat.

It is said that a Saint sent a huge amount to another Saint. That Saint said unto him "that thing that is considered by Allah his enemy, why are you sending this thing disliked by God to the Friend of Allah? Is this friendship? There are many persons, who are its seekers. You give it to them".

Hence, Faqeer is he, who never considers the world and the People-of-Dunya as worthy of attention because upon gazing upon it, one's heart becomes black.

It is quoted that a Saint retired for prayer in recluse that a king came to get the honor of seeing him and presented him some money and valuables. Dervish said "O enemy of God! What opportunity of vindictiveness, dissension and hypocrisy it is which you found for me?
