What
is Murshid e Tareeqat? The Murshid e Tareeqat becomes Self-Sufficient
against Both-the-Worlds after wearing the yoke of servitude (and
Obedience) in his neck. And
what is the Murshid e Haqeeqat? The Murshid e Haqeeqat shows
heroic efforts in subjugating and repressing the Nafs. And
what is the Murshid e Marifat? The Murshid e Marifat becomes the Master
of Secrets after becoming familiar with Divine Secrets and Mysteries. That
Murshid, who is unable to take the Seeker of Allah When
you see that a Faqeer does many onerous efforts in abstemiousness,
pietism, Riyazat and Chilla but has no news of the Inward,
you should understand that he is in the wilderness of aberration. His
end will also be like the end of a cunning person. Faqeer
is also of two kinds: one is the Master of Inward
(Baatin ) and the Master
of abdomen (Batan ). The Master of Abdomen fills his stomach [like beasts].
He has no information of the Ilm of Baatin (knowledge of Inward
).
His end will be bad. The double the quantity of Noor is produced inside
the body of the Master of Inward than the food, which he eats. The food
of the Faqeers is [all] Noor. Moreover,
the stomach of the Faqeer is (fire) oven and their Qalb is the Baytil-Mamoor**
and their slumber is (wakefulness in) Hazoori and in their sight,
the ascetic (worshipper) the seeker of the Eden is a laborer and
their Uqba is forgiveness. And
Murshideen are also of two kinds: One
is the Murshid the Master-of-gaze and the other is the Murshid
the Master of wealth (and gold). [That
is,] one is Murshid Wasli Lazawali (with eternal Wasal) and the other is
Murshid Fasli Saali***. In
addition, Murshid should keep the properties of both shady
tree as well as the fruit tree because he, who sits under the shade
of tree, gets full comfort. Similarly, the Murshid should keep on benefiting
the Seeker in both Deen (Faith) as well as the world as a
tree that not only gives fruit but also provides comfort by its shade. **
Baytil-Mamoor
(that is, the Inwardly
and Noori
frequented Ka'ba) ***
Fasli Saali (looking forward to receiving the donations from the annual crop
yield of his disciples etc.) 
onto these Maratib,
is schemer and deceitful person.
