If
someone had the rightful claim of the Ilm and learning, it
should have been of the Bal'am Baoor
** because twelve thousands inkpots
were always present in his mosque and the pens were always running. And
their pens used to write down the state of affairs of Reality from one side of Qaf
to the other end of the Qaf [but how could they possess this Martaba
when the Taufeeq of Lord
was not with them]. If this Martaba
was attainable because of wealth and possessions, none else but Qaroon should
have got it because he had taken his treasures up to beneath the sod (earth)!
In addition, if this right could be achievable by claiming to be the
deity of worship, it should have been with Pharaoh because he
claimed to be "god" and at the end, drowned into the River Nile
[and died]. Moreover, if this right could be held by ignorance, it should have been
got by Abu Jahl.
Hence,
all these things have no originality. The original thing is this
that, in all worship and Muhabbat , the absolute sincerity should
be purely for Allah (Lillah). In the event thereof, the example
of the dog of the Ashaab-e-Kahf should be kept in mind that its love
and absolute sincerity took it out of the line of dogs and placed it in
the line of human beings. It has been mentioned in the Holy Quran in these
words:
Allah
Almighty
says: their dog, the sixth, guessing at the unseen. (18:22)

The
Seeker of Lord
should see this that since he is
the son of Adam, therefore, his case in Muhabbat of Lord should
not be weaker than a dog. [That is, when a dog reached the level of humanity
then that human being who does not acquire humanity in the Muhabbat of Lord
, is inferior to
dog].
There
are three kinds of Faqar:

** ABOUT BAL'AM BAOOR: He was a
renowned scholar and pious person in the Children of Israel in the era
of Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
. He had been engrossed
in mortification and Mujahida for forty years. He knew the Ism-e-Azam.
When he raised his head, he could see up to the Throne. Twelve thousand
scholars used to study in his company. He was Mustajaab-ud-Dawaat
. Due to his
curse, Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
along with his
nation remained in problems in the valley of Tiya. When message of Allah
came
that He had granted him the power of Dawat
but he has been unthankful to Allah.
Had he shown gratefulness to Allah
even once in his entire life Allah
would
have not been not taken all the bounties back from him. Under lobbing of his
nation and after taking from them a lot of wealth and rewards, he wished a
curse against Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
and the Children
of Israel that fell back on him. And it has come in Holy Quran that his
condition became so much worse like that dog which if beaten, would wheeze
and if not beaten, it would even then wheeze. He ended in state of Kufr and met ruination
due to a curse of a Messenger.
