ABYAAT (COUPLETS)

He finds the Stations of Ilaahiya with the Zikr of Lord,

That is, he, who finds the Wisaal with Friend after attaining Zikr and Fikr ,

And he, who is unable to find the path of virtue through the Zikr of the Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam,

That person will be black hearted and will keep bad company,

Since the Paas-e-Anfaas is Special Zikr ,

They, who have put on the coarse woolen raiment of deceit and guile, are not Zaakireen,

O Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe! How Hijaab can last for the People of Zikr in the Zikr of Almighty God?

They keep themselves rather [Mast ] in the Station of Fanaa-Fi-Allah (Destruction in Allah) and this the answer.

Hence, body should be that, which finds peace and equanimity through the Zikr of its Deity of worship, not that with lower courage (and mettle) and that which feels light. It is revealed that it uses to be the raiment of the People-of-Muhabbat and Irfaan. Seemingly, they are poor but in Reality, they are the loved ones of God. Who are Poor (Ghareeb )? Poor (Ghareeb ) is the name of not keeping the Liking and Thought of anything in heart besides the Muhabbat of Lord and the People-of-Muhabbat are Indigent (Miskeen ). Who are indigent? Miskeen means are those people, whose company and habitation is all the time with Allah Almighty. In addition, by Saakin Ma'Allah (dweller along with Allah) mean Faqeer and by Faqeer is meant the People of Zikr. And what are Zaakireen? Zaakireen are they, who do the Zikr of Allah all the time.

HADIS-E-QUDSI

(Saying of Allah reported by the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

I accompany him, who does My Zikr [all the time].

The People-of-Muhabbat and Ishq are orphans. Orphan (Yateem) is he, whose parents have died and he has no support other than God. [Same is the case of the People-of-Muhabbat. They are orphans in the sense that they remain busy in the Zikr of Allah in anticipation of Wisaal and Qurb or Noble Lord after forsaking their families and kinsfolk]. Their Martaba progresses higher day by day near Allah Almighty. Hence, the body of the People of Zikr should not be of lower in courage (and mettle).
