THIRD CHAPTER ABOUT MURSHID
AND TAALIB (SEEKER) ON THE COURSE OF
ALLAH, FAQAR FANAA-FI-ALLAH
(DESTROYED IN ALLAH)
AND BAQAA-BI-ALLAH
(REBORN WITH ALLAH)
It
is very vital to know that who is called the Murshid-e-Kaamil and which characteristic
and caliber does Murshid possess. Through which Tareeq
(method), the Murshid Drowns (a person) in the [River]
of the Tauheed and how does he take the [Seeker] in the Majlis
of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam?
What thing is received from the Murshid, and what status does the Murshid
himself has and which Maratib does he possess? But [It should be kept in
mind that] the Murshid Faqeer
Fanaa-Fi-Allah
(Destroyed in Allah) Baqaa-Bi-Allah
(Reborn
with Allah)
is the Master of Tasarruf and "Yuhyee Wa Yamutu" [gives life,
that is, blows life in the Dead Heart and kills the Nafs]
and is Laa-Yuhtaaj like the Sang-e-Paaris. His gaze is as the
likeness of Touchstone [for the Seeker]. He changes the bad character
of the Seeker like sun [as sun the bad air into good one]. He is like
dyer [who can dye fabric with finest colors]. He is aware like the Paan**
Farosh (seller) who takes care of the betel leaves [and same like
this the Murshid takes care of the Seeker of Allah]. BAYT (COUPLET) Iron, [as soon as], saw Sang-e-Paaris, It transformed into gold. Similarly,
the Murshid-e-Kaamil uses to be the Master of Khulq
(tremendous
nature and conduct). The caliber of the Khulq of-Muhammad
Sal
Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam
is found in him. He is more affectionate [on the Mureedain] than their
parents. He guides them. He is as if is Guide unto the Path of Allah
and is granter of the gem. He is priceless like the mine of the (red)
Spinel (gem). He is generous like the Ocean of pearls. He unlocks every hardship
[of the Seekers] same as the key unlocks a lock.
