Second are the People of Ilm and Hilm (Forbearance). Allah Almighty, by granting them Ilm , Amal and Taqwa, makes them the People of reason and the Masters of understanding. By virtue of this, they become fit for the words of "the Ulema and the heirs of the Prophets" with reference to Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam . They make their speech and practice copying the Sunnat of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and by moving step by step on the Tareeq (way) of Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam, become the Taarik (abnegator) of Dunya (World).

Third are the People-of-Dunya and the Pomp of world and the Seekers of gold and possessions. They fall in greed and desire by copying the hypocrites and Kuffaar, and cause themselves deviated away of [the Beaten Path].

Thus, the Seeker of Lord is himself the judge and reviewer as to which folk he belongs to.

Remember, Faqeer is also of two kinds.

1.      Taarik Az Dunya (World) (Abnegator of Dunya (World)

2.      Faarigh Az Dunya (World) (he, who has made himself disengaged with world).

Thus, who is Taarik Az Dunya (World) and who is the Faarigh Az Dunya (World)? Faqeer Taarik Az Dunya (World) is not he, who becomes Faqeer in order to amass Dunya (World) and that he may be known as the Taarik Az Dunya (Abnegator of World) and the abandoner (Faariq) still keeping the Liking for Dunya (World). Hence, this is the Taarik (Abnegator), who trades his garb of Faqar in bazaar for coins. This is not the Khaas (Special and Proper) Faqar.

Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Tark (Abnegation) of Dunya (World) for Dunya (World).

That is, some Faqeers Dervishes abnegate Dunya (World) [actually] for Dunya (World). The Faqeer Taarik (Abnegator) Faarigh (disengaged) is he, who gives up both the Dunya (World) as well as the People-of-Dunya. Real Faqar is this that whatever is presented to him, he should present it to God. That person, who is endowed with this caliber, he is Faqeer the Sultan-ul-Arifeen. When Faqeer has completely become Taarik (Abnegator) Faarigh (disengaged) concerning Dunya (World), he achieves Jamiyat no matter whether he is stationing at one place or is in traveling and sightseeing. This is he, who is also called Faqeer Sultan-ul-Arifeen Shah Javedaani. That person, who all the time keeps Allah in mind, nothing of Dunya (World) appeals him save Allah. Moreover, he gives away every [dear] thing for Lord.

Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis-Salaam (Abraham) causes himself to become an Insider although he belonged to a tribe of the Kuffaar that was an Outsider and Abu Jahl, although he was Insider of his tribe, remained an Outsider for Ka'ba.
