177-178 That
exertion for national benefit and spreading religion, which is being undertaken
by the Europeans, we as Muslims should drown and die with shame seeing that. As
example, we submit some accounts of these people in support of our discussion. A
Christian woman Mrs. Reynolds left her Will for spending twelve thousand
Dollars on religious and national development after her demise. A proposal was
under consideration for sending a Mission from London to Island of New Guinea,
which is thousands of miles from Jerusalem. In order to understand about the
local conditions, a Christian traveler is sent there in 1817. He, very
disappointedly, sends this report to the London Biblical Society that very
dangerous crocodiles and extremely poisonous snakes live there and a few humans
who live there are also very cruel and bloody that one cannot even think of
sitting in them. Reply from London is sent that this report is just enough that
humans live there and every that place which is human habitat should
compulsorily be visited by the Missionary. On this Mission alone, the Biblical
Society of London spent thirteen million Pounds. This is a very small example
of these people for the monetary and physical sacrifice for the sake of
religious and spiritual matters. See the sacrifices and life-threatening
efforts of the outsiders for religious affairs and compare the leisure and
carelessness of the insiders! That
ordinary Inwardly
Personality or the initial substance of life, which has
recently been revealed by the Europe, is called Latifa
(Subtlety) of Nafs
by
the People of Saints in their terminology. This Subtlety
exists in every human
being in an incomplete and immature state. Through this Personality, the human
being enters dream through this same Personality. * This
Subtle
bulk of the Nafs
is covering the body like a garment. Near our People of
Self Kaamil
Faqeers
and the Genuine Arifeen
, the most ordinary level Inwardly
Personality is of the Nafs. Many superior and more sublime Personalities
gradually take birth in man through the Inwardly
Selk Salook
which are called
the Latifa
e Qalb
, Latifa
e Ruh
, Latifa
e Sirr
, Latifa
e Khafi
, Latifa
e
Akhfa
and Latifa
e Anaa. The Europeans have not known about these superior and higher-level
Personalities. They have just discovered the Latifa
(Subtlety) of Nafs
alone
that is covering the earthly body like a dress and when it enters the world of
dreams, it assumes a Subtle
exemplary figure. Its abode is the Realm of Nasoot.
In this abode, the Nafs
also faces Sifli
Arwah
(Spirits), Jinn
and Devils also
as these Sifli
Spirits of the Realm of Unseen also live in the same abode. The
Name of this Subtlety
is Shariyat. That is, by abiding by Shariyat, it gets
Inwardly
advancement and spiritual ascension and its Inwardly
Teer Sair
and way
of going ahead is Elalllah. That is, the matter of the Saalik
remains
restricted just to the Qeel-O-Qaal, Zikr
Azkaar
and talks and discussions only.
The Haal
of such Saalik
is merely Inclination (Mail) towards Allah
Almighty.
Color of this Subtlety
is blue and its Zikr
is Tayyeb Laaa-Ilaaha
Ill-Allahu
Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah
and its Visualization
is the Name Allah. through the regular practice of
Shariyat
and the Tawajuh
of the Murshid-e-Kaamil
and his favorable Gaze
and
through the Riyazat
and Mujahida
in Zikr
and Fikr
, the Tazkiya
of Nafs
of the
Saalik
continues due to which the Nafs-e-Ammara
coverts into Lawwama and
Lawwama into Mulhimma and Mulhimma finally converts into Mutmainna.
Thus, there are four kinds and destinations of the Nafs. First is Nafs-e-Ammara
. It is called Ammara because of the reason that it all the time enjoins unto
evil as Allah
Almighty says in Surah
Yusuf (12) that 'Lo! the (tempter) soul
(the Nafs-e-Ammara
) enjoins unto evil (12:53)'. This Nafs
is in the
Kuffaar, Mushrik, hypocrite and Faasiq
(Miscreant). Irfan (Volume 1) IRFAAN 1 pdf download Install app |
