The
real motive of the whole Faith and the true purpose of sending the Holy Quran
down and the factual desire of the religion are the Marifat
and identification
of Allah
Almighty. And the original device and the means for Marifat
is the
Inwardly
Eye the power of sight, light and Noor
of which is the Zikr
of Allah. And the Zikr
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat )
is the one that covers all Azkaar
and the superior and original Station
of the
Zikr
is the eye and its best way of doing is Inscribing and writing this Naqsh
of Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) inside the body through Visualization
and
Tafakkur. All the rest of the religious actions and Exercises are lowlier and
of a degree lower than this and the Saalik
faces some Rijat
and hindrance in
these Exercises.
Say:
Allah. Then leave them to their play of caviling (6:91)
The
Dilatation of Bosom and the Life of Heart
and the Course
of the Qurb
, Mushahida
, Wasal
and Didaar
of Allah
Almighty does not open without the Visualization
of
the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) even if the Seeker
undertakes industrious
Riyazat
and Mujahida
in his entire life and turns as thin as a hair is in
exertion and heart
remains same Dead and Dark because the Tazkiya
of the Nafs
is accomplished through Outward
Worship
and Physical Actions but the Course
of
the Life of the life of the heart
is other and its sort is other sort.
Now
the question arises why should we acknowledge the Name Allah to be the Zaati
Name (Name of the
Essence) and all the other Names of Allah
are Sifaati
(of Calibers) and this
Name is the Comprehensive and the Ism-e-Azam
of all (other) Names. We have well
explained the importance, comprehensiveness and Zaatiyat (personal-ness)
already. We now expose the literal comprehensiveness, signification and Zaatiyat
as a sample representing the total so that it might be a source of Comfort (and
solace) for the readers. When we observe the pronunciation of the word
'Allah', it is composed of four letters of alphabet
Alif,
Laam,
Laam,
and Haa and if its first letter Alif
if skipped, (it
becomes Lillah)
composed by three letters of alphabet Laam, Laam, and Haaand its
denotation is not misrepresented but instead it too represents the way and
means of the Alwahiyat
( the one and only Deity of worship) of Allah
Almighty and if the Laam is also parted, then it becomes Lahu which
represents personal pronoun.

And
when the second Laam is also removed, Hu is left in which hint is towards the Essence
(Zaat). In short, this Name remains unaltered and fix in denotation in
every condition and its all the four forms Allah, Lillah, Lahu and Hu are Great Names in themselves and for each
Name is its respective Station: Shariyat, Tareeqat, Haqeeqat
and Marifat
and
each has its respective Realm: Nasoot
, Malakoot, Jabroot
and Lahoot
and each
Name is like a Key
and Switch to cover the said Stations
and Realm. In addition,
through each of these Names for Zikr
and Visualization, the Saalik
transcends
through the total Hijaabaat
and Destinations and Stations
and unites with Allah
Almighty!
Initially
there were four, then became three, now two,
When
I will cross duality, will become one.
Thus,
this quality is not found in any other name except this Name. That is, its
Alwahiyat
does not alter even if its letters are separated and separating each
letter of alphabet results in a new Attribute fixed for some particular Station
of the Salook. That is, the Name Allah is particular for the Latifa
(Subtlety) of
the Nafs
and its Realm is Nasoot
and Station
is Shariyat
and Sair
(Traveling)
is Elal Allah
(unto Allah). The Name Lillah is reserved for the Latifa
of Qalb
and its
Realm is Malakoot
and Station
is Tareeqat
and Sair
is Lillah (for Allah). Third
Name is Lahu the Latifa
of which is Ruh
(Spirit) and Station
is Haqeeqat
and
Realm is Jabroot
and Traveling is Alal Allah
. Fourth Name is Hu. Its
Subtlety
is Sirr
and its Station
is Marifat
and Realm is Lahoot
and Traveling
is Ma-Allah (along with Allah).
And same on like this.
The
experts of this technique and the old chieftains have established seven Lataif
(Subtleties) of the Inwardly
Salook and have appointed distinct Realm, Station,
unique Haal
and Zikr
for each Subtlety. We give hereunder that Chart for Seven Subtleties.
