OF AUTHOR [Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe] I
am telling you the place of the spring of water, not showing a mirage, Where
are you wandering for it here and there, I have that water in my pot, I
am Mast
by that wine, which I got on the Day of Azal
, I
am not sleepy but innated I am totally conscious and not telling you accounts
of dream.
There
are two methods of Zikr. One is Zikr
Bil Lisaan that is, doing Zikr
by tongue.
Second is Zikr
Bil Janaan that is doing Zikr
through heart and thought. First
Zikr
is of tongue and lips. Second Zikr
is of Visualization
and thought that is,
of the eye of the intuition (and insight). Allah
Almighty describes both
methods in this way Did
We not assign unto him two eyes, and a tongue and two lips, and guide him to
the parting of the mountain ways? (90:8-9-10)
Thus,
the way of tongue and lips is Outward
Method of Verbal Zikr
and the way of Zikr
through Visualization
and Tafakkur
is of Zikr
Bil Janaan. Hence, the time the
Seeker
does the Exercise
(of Preoccupation) of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat )
and the Naqsh
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) becomes established on the heart
of the Seeker, thence, emitted a flame of the Tajalli
of the Anwaar
through the
Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) in which the Seeker
becomes Drowned
into the
Anwaar
of Didaar
and the Inwardly
Body of the Seeker
becomes covered and Live
in this Noor
of the Essence
and by this, the way of Didaar
and Mushahida
opens
to the Seeker
forever. Thus, the Zikr
of Eye is superior, higher, more perfect,
total and comprehensive Zikr
amongst all kinds of Zikr. That is, the
Visualization
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) is the kernel and origin of all
Azkaar
whereas all other Tareeq
of the Zikr
are all minutiae (Froaat). Some
people would say that the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) is a word
made of these
letters of alphabet: Alif, Laam, Laam and Haa. When we utter this word
by tongue or write it on paper or see it through eye, then like other words, we
do not feel any gravity or any kind of higher or lower temperature or some
taste or power of other sort. * Then
why should they admit that there exists affect, Noor
, light or power to some
extent in it by which the Hijaabaat
and Darkness of the Nafs
and Satan
and
vices and neglectfulness and it carries Inwardly
heat and temperature of that
extent by which the Shell of Nasoot
of man may crack delivering the Bird of the
Lahoot
out from it. Or that, that kind of Inwardly
Electrical power is hidden
in it upon riding over the Fast Burraaq of the power and ability of which the
Zaakir
and the Master of Visualization
can reach the sacred and high Sanctuary
(Court) of Allah
Almighty. Saying the Name Allah by tongue or writing it on page or just
looking it through eyes is as if one is holding a tablet of some medicine in
hand or is just looking it but by doing this is it sure that he will get its
(efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact). [Certainly not] as medicine gives
its (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact) only when it has reached its
particular Station
like stomach or liver and especially it has diffused into
blood. For example, if you want to see the (efficacious) effectiveness (and the
impact) of arsenic (Senkhiya), you will have to engulf it so that it should
reach the stomach and then you can get the effect and will notice that that
crystal of arsenic, which was looking like a harmless thing like lime, in hand,
when it reached inside body, it proved like atom bomb for life which destroyed
everything. Similarly, a useful and beneficial medicine like antidote also
gives its usefulness when it reaches inside the human body. Everything gives
its result at its appropriate place and Station. Moreover, if the extract of
medicine is injected in body through injection, it gives its harmful or useful
effect with greater speed in body. In short, the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat )
is the key extract of the whole Holy Quran and the Sanctified Names of Lord and
stomach for it is the human heart which is its Inwardly
appropriate place. If
it's Wird
is done by tongue and it taken to the Inwardly
appropriate place of
heart observing all necessary conditions and requirements, then it would show
its effect or when it is delivered to some special part of the body through the
injection of Visualization
or Tafakkur
