English: In these couplets, Hazrat
Sultan Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe portrays the time of his Demand
that he wandered and travelled for thirty years
from town to town in hid Demand
of Allah
and the search of Murshid. In such
condition of helplessness, adversity and poverty, there is no companion and
friend of the Seeker. In the darkness and loneliness of night, he addresses the
moon and stars which are the only companions with him at that time and says that 'O moon! You
keep on giving moonlight and the stars should keep on the Commemoration. In our
destiny, who are the buyers of red Spinel and Gems, it has written that we, the
helpless and destitute persons have to wander in streets and towns. Then he
describes the poor plight of the travelers that 'would that Allah
should make
none a traveler who become so weak that they become weary to carry straws even
and yet they have to carry heavy burdens unwillingly. Then he addresses the
people and says that 'O People! We have come to your town not to stay and spend
days but we have come here in search of that shop where one can get red
Spinels, gemstone and the stuff we demand. We, like a flock of migratory birds,
have landed your city to take some rest. There is no need to frighten us to fly
by clapping or annoying as we are ourselves ready to fly and leave'. He has written this stanza in the days of
his early Demand
to express his Muhabbat
and Curiosity and his Dewaan e Bahu
also seems to be composed in these days but the Persia books, which he wrote in his Salook
and Marifat, were
written when he had covered the entire Destinations
of the Salook
and attained Marifat
and became Waasil
with Allah
Almighty. Punjabi Kalam i Bahu (r) pdf download Install app |
