Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe
has used the awful and fierce animals
like goshawk, lion and elephant as metaphor for Ishq. He says that the stern
and violent goshawk of Ishq
keeps on drinking the blood of the ached Aashiqeen.
It establishes such a kind of occupation in the bosom of the ached Aashiq
as a
lion sits in his territory of the jungle and forces all other animals run far
away from its area after frightening them or it walks like an intoxicated
elephant and crushes and destroys everything under its feet that comes on its
way. However, one should not be a victim of the Waswaas
and anxiety against
this fierce character of Ishq
that ruthlessly moves forward and he should not
be frightened by its insanity and craziness because one cannot achieve meeting
and Wasal
with the Real beloved
without it.
