333-334
Body
is felt eased and a gladness and bliss is felt for no apparent reason. On the
other hand, if a person misses Assalaat
of night and has not offered it, heart
remains worried and glum. He cannot get sound asleep and sees nightmares. If
the person, who offers Assalaat
(Prayers), does not experience and feel any of
the abovementioned signs, he should conclude that his offered Assalaat
was not
rightly done and was invalid and did not reach the degree of Acceptability.
Otherwise, there is no reason that the slave contacts the Sanctuary (Court) of
Allah
Almighty and begs and asks (for help and needs) and that the Hayyu-Qayyum
does
not respond because Allah's trysts are true as He says:
Therefore,
remember Me, I will remember you (2:152)
Allah
Almighty says: Your Lord
has said: Pray unto Me and I will hear your prayer (40:60)
Hence,
the person, who offers Assalaat
(Prayers), should offer Assalaat
in right and
acceptable way and should keep his intention pure and should incline his heart
towards Allah
Almighty and should offer Assalaat
with that Hazoor
of heart as
if he is standing in front of Allah
Almighty and he is seeing Him or at least
he should imagine that he is offering Assalaat
(Prayers) in the Court of Allah
Almighty and that Glorious Lord is seeing him.
Allah
Almighty says: Successful
indeed are the believers, who are humble in their prayers (23:1-2)
Four
conditions apply for a valid Assalaat
(Prayers):
- Hazoor
of Heart
- (using
due) wisdom and sense (when standing in Prayers) before God
- Awe
and Greatness of Allah's Glorious Essence
in heart
- Offering
the elements of Assalaat
in the best manner and remaining humble and
unpretentious
Thus,
Assalaat, in absence of Hazoori
, is distracted fiddle and Assalaat, in absence
of sense and wisdom is darkness of heart. Without humble (stooping), the heart
of the person offering Prayers is Khaati, that is, astray and without
unpretentious subordination, the person offering Prayers is Jaani, that is, he
is wronging his Nafs.
HADIS
(Saying of the Holy
Prophet of Allah Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)
When
slave stands before Court of Allah
Almighty in Assalaat
(Prayers), Allah
Almighty lifts the Hijaab
and Curtains between Him and that slave and turns
attentive to that slave through His Sacred Essence
and arrays and lines of
Angels stand in the space between his shoulders and heavens and they follow
and copy his offering of Postures of Assalaat
as a gesture of honor and
admiration and accompany him saying Amen with his Amen and present to him and
shower on him the trays full of the jewels of the Anwaar
of Mercy on him from
the kingdom of heavens!

*
That
person, who offers Assalaat
(Prayers) with the Hazoori
of Heart, his condition
is exactly the same as mentioned above!
This
has come in a Hadis
that His Highness Jalaal
Ahadiyat says that when the slave says
Takbeer e Tahreema, that is, Allahu Akbar for Assalaat
(Prayers), Allah
Almighty
orders the Angels of His Sacred Sanctuary (Court) that 'O Angels!
This slave has come in My Court and intends to utter some words of secrecy and
privacy and wants to beg and implore. O Angels! Lift the Curtains
between this slave and Me for a while'. The Angels lift the Hijaab
and
Curtains following the Orders of Allah
Almighty. However, when the slave
inclines and attends towards the Khatraat
of the Outsider and the worldly
thoughts and his heart become empty of the Thought and Visualization
of Allah
Almighty, Order is given again from the Court of Lord that 'O Angels!
Drape the Curtains again. His heart is facing opposite to Me and it is facing
towards Dunya
(World). This slave has not come to offer Assalaat
and praying
and seeking (My help) in My Sanctuary and instead he has come to do non-serious
and to make a jest on Me'. Here, an Angel heralds saying that 'Would
that this person, who is inclining and is attentive towards the Outsider in
Assalaat, know this thing that what Glorious Sacred Highness Excellency He is,
before Him he is standing! Had he known that, he would not have dared to incline
and attend to the trivial things and ignoble creatures after turning his face
away of that Magnificent King of the Kings!'
In
the book 'Awarif ul Muararif', Shaikh
Shahab ud Din Soherwardi Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe says that 'when the person, offering
Assalaat
(Prayers), says Takbeer e Tahreema, that is, Allahu Akbar, the Devils that are
attached with him scatter here and there in different directions upon hearing
the words of Takbeer e Tahreema, that is, Allahu Akbar because Allah
Almighty sends Tajalli
towards the heart of the salve and gazes upon his heart.
