337-338
One
complete year passed in same state but no one inclined towards him and his
hopes of becoming Imaam
could not materialize. At last, one day he did Muhaasba
with his Nafs
that 'O Nafs! You bore hunger and thirst for one year by keeping
Fasts and offered Nawafil
everything as a show off just for a worldly purpose.
You spoiled sleep of a whole year. Had you done this only to please Allah
Almighty, you should have reached some good degree this day. Alas and alack on
yours this wisdom and curse be on your wrong motive'. He was about to leave the
Masjid under this genuine emotion and feeling that the trustee (or custodian)
of the Masjid met him on the main gate and asked him where he was going. He
told him that he intends for his homeland. He asked him not leave for anywhere
as just a while ago a thought came to his mind that the previous Imaam
of their
Masjid has expired one and half years before and since he appeared to be a
virtuous person, therefore, why not this vacant post be offered to him. He
further said that it would be his kindness if he accepts the honor of becoming
Imaam
of their Masjid. That person surprised to learn this and thought that
that thing could not have been done by the hypocritical worship of one year,
which had done by the virtuous thought, and the genuine intention of a moment.
Then he promised with Allah
Almighty that he will never offer any worship and
will not undertake any action for a worldly or personal objective but will do
this only for Allah's pleasure and gladness (and accreditation). Thus,
henceforth, that person became of the special persons and near ones of Allah
Almighty. Thus, the good intention and pure motive is the key of success for
every job. Moreover,
HADIS
(Saying of the Holy
Prophet of Allah Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)
The
Intention of the Believer is superior to his action.
That
is, if a person intends for a deed of goodness, until he accomplishes that task,
he gets the Sawaab
for his good intention and intent and when he has executed
the task, the good intent and pure thought of heart ends. For example, a person
intends to offer Hajj
(Muslim Pilgrimage), then he remains always occupied by
the imagination and thought of doing Tawaaf
around Ka'ba and the pilgrimage on
the Sacred Tomb (of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa
Aa-lehee Wa-sallam) and he earns Return for this pure
thought and the virtuous imagination.

However,
when he goes for Hajj, his good intention is concluded and reservedly, his mind
becomes occupied by the thoughts of his home and homeland when he is sitting in
Khana-e-Kaba as someone has said:
If
you are inside Holy Ka'ba but your heart is engaged with the Outsiders,
You
are in sin and Ka'ba is far away from you,
But
if God is in your heart and you are in Idol-temple,
Be
happy that your end will end in the good!

Now
let us tell you about other kind of Hajj
of a bigger level. Many people earn
Haraam
and do sinful activities of many types on this hope that they will offer
Hajj
at the last phase of their age and will get all sins forgiven by Allah
Almighty. Such people have taken the most Sacred, Sanctified, Just and True
Court of Allah
Almighty like a court of a cruel ruler that likes to take bribes
where all problems and issues become okay when you give bribe. Thus, we see
many big cruel people and capitalists of this age. Their whole life has been
spent in taking bribes, adultery
(and fornication), pastime and merrymaking,
looting, cruelty and oppression and the abominable actions and vices of
multifarious nature and they become rich after sucking the blood of the poor.
Then, in order to get their previous sins forgiven or in order to get the title
of Haji
from the people and in order to create respect and trust for them in
their late years, they board the plane with festoons of many flowers around
their necks with great celebrations and take off for Hajj
and feel pride in
heart that they have come after getting all sins forgiven by God and have done
a great deed of reward when they return to their home. However, Allah
Almighty
will throw this kind of Hajj
on their faces like cow dung and they will instead
receive Allah's violence and torment. No stuff and item of the true bazaars of
the Hereafter
is got by these kinds of fake coins but conversely one can get
punishment and problems with such cash. Only a very pure and the perfectly
wholesome action are assigned a value in the Court of that Real Exchanger.
Allah
Almighty says:
