When a Ghaus has died in this world, one Qutub of the Aqtaab (plural of Qutub) is appointed on his place and if a Qutub has passed away from this world, he is substituted by an Autaad form the Autaad and Abdaal is appointed in place of Autaad and so on. All kinds of the Saalik and the Majzoob are included in this Department. When the number of Majzoob exceeds, downfall, chaos and insurgencies take place in the world and when the number of the Salikeen exceeds, peace and tranquility and comforts prevail all over the world in every way. It is perhaps the incident of the year 1909 or 1910 when this Faqeer had deserted (the Islamia) College (Lahore) and chosen the line of Faqar. In those days I intended to offer Hajj along with my respectful mother. I was told in a dream in those days that the Ghaus of that time was living in Jeddah and if I have a chance to offer Hajj, I should meet with him but I could not avail the opportunity of Hajj that year. Often it is observed that when a Kaamil Faqeer intends to undertake journey of some area, he is greeted by the Mutsarrif of that area in the Inward and presents to him the Keys of his domain and remains helpful and assists in every work and remains the protector and guardian of the Inward and the Outward of that Kaamil Faqeer. Special thing in these people is that they keep their Secret very hidden and do not disclose their Secret on anybody. Expression and fame bear the decree of Sword for them. If any of their Secret goes out or becomes known, they get Disqualified of their Office at once. They keep on hiding themselves under the mantle of anonymity.

We quote here under some Ahadees in support of the existence of the Rijaal-ul-Ghaib:

Abu Naeem Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu says that Ibn e Masood Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu reports that the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Some special extraordinary slaves of Allah Almighty are those on the face of earth that Allah Almighty sends His Mercy on the people because of their prayers and Auspiciousness (and blessing), showers rains from sky and grows the produce of earth. These people are the cause of peace and comfort in the earth and are the likeness of souls that are in flux. These are a group of 360 persons. Quloob (hearts) of some of them are like that of Adam Alaihis-Salaam. Some are those whose hearts are like Hazrat Musa Adam Alaihis-Salaam. Some have hearts like the heart of Hazrat Ibrahim Adam Alaihis-Salaam. Hearts of some of these are like the Muqarribeen Angels and other Angels.

In the book 'Karamaatil Aulia ' it is written that Hazrat Anas Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu reports that the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Face of earth never remains without such forty persons in the Auspiciousness (and blessing) of them rains shower from sky and earth produces plants. Such people are the Abdaal of my Ummat.

Imaam Ahmed Ebaad Ibn e Saamat Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu reports that the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam said that: Forty-person will ever remain in my Ummat on earth that by virtue of their presence the commandment and order of earth and sky will remain in force. It was humbly asked from him that what will be their caliber? he commanded that: they are those people who forgive him who hurts them and pay goodness as return of evil.

Jalaal ud Din Sitooti Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe has written that the news of the Abdaal is verified truth and it prevails in such a continuity that the presence of Abdaal has touched the level of Yaqeen.

Sakhaawi has written that the most vivid Report of the Abdaal is that which has been reported by the Imaam Ahmed Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu through Shareeh Bin Ubaid that Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wajhu said that: Do not curse the people of Syria because forty Abdaal live there. Rains shower in their Auspiciousness (and blessing) and they give support the Doctrine.

Imaam Sitooti Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe writes that this Report of Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wajhu which has been quoted by Imaam Ahmed Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu, its testimonials are more than ten.
