73-74 Some
people here have shown their dissatisfaction and anxiety up to such extent that
they have torn their clothes after losing self-control like madmen and have
become totally naked. Peace of heart could not have become their share in
exquisite and costly dresses. All these are the symptoms and effects of cordial
restlessness and Inwardly
anguish which are shown in these capitalistic nations
in different forms. These people are sensing this discontent and frustration of
the Inwardly
heart disease in them and are striving heard like mad people in
order to find its cure but their material efforts, Outwardly
tries, external
endeavor and superficial struggle is totally fruitless. Disease
became severer upon trying newer remedies. [Momin] In
reality, the only remedy for this disease is the Zikr
of Allah but this panacea is so rare and
hardly to find like Phoenix on their land. So, their all efforts and tries in
finding material remedies and outward
cures besides the Zikr
and worship are
absolutely vain. One
day Hazrat
Esa Alaihis-Salaam humbly asked Allah
Almighty that 'O Allah!
Let me see this world in its real form and real color'. Allah
Almighty said
that 'Soon I will let you see the world in its real face'. Thus, one day he was
crossing across a jungle and he saw a lady at a distant place wearing a veil
which was sparkling in the sunlight due to the silky and golden flowers and
patterns woven on the veil. He assumed that must be some nymph with countenance
like moon behind such charming and decorated golden veil. That veiled lady came
nearer him and as soon as she lifted the veil on her face, he was struck with
wonder and astonishment as the face of a very old, extremely heinous, ugly and
shockingly hideous, black woman with uncombed hair. * Seeing
her could be a hair-raising experience. Hazrat
Esa Alaihis-Salaam
asked her that 'O hag! Who are you?' She replied that 'I am Dunya
(World)'. He
asked her 'O hag! For what this golden, decorative, and beautiful raiment is on
this hideous, ugly and deprecatory figure!' She replied that 'I tempt people
and make them fall in my love with this apparel I have otherwise the real face
and the original figure that I have is that which you are seeing'. When he
focused upon her hands, her one hand was red with blood and blood was trickling
from it while the other hand was colored with henna. He asked her that why her
one hand was dirty with blood and she replied that 'he who becomes my husband,
I use to murder him at once. I have just slaughtered one husband right now and
this hand is covered with his blood'. He asked her that why her second hand was
dyed with henna and she replied that 'now I am going to become the wife of
another husband'. He was surprised and asked her if her new husband does not
learn any lesson from her hand red with blood and she replied that 'O Esa (Alaihis-Salaam)!
You should not be surprised by this that I kill and murder one brother in same
house and at the same time the second brother becomes ready to acquire me'. In
short, many such questions and answered full of lessons and homily were
dialogued between Hazrat
Esa Alaihis-Salaam and that hag of
world due to which the original reality of the world was exposed to him. To
many Inward
seers and the reality aware Ahl-e-Allah
(the People-of-Allah) the
world is seen in its real color and original form whereas the Outward
seers
(materialistic people) blind by eyes smells of lust carnal people die for its
apparent raiment and are killed and destroyed by it. An
Arif
, in dream and contemplation, Saw
the World (Dunya (World)), in form of a virgin, He
asked her why was she still virgin, In
spite of having so many husbands,
She said she will speak the truth in one word, All
those proved impotent, who married her, Whereas
those who were really potent, liked her not, That
is why her virginity is still intact!
