Hazrat Shaikh Shibli Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe asked from his Dervish the way and fashion in which the prince had thrown the gold coins. Dervish reported that the prince had opened each bag one by one and had thrown the coins in the river in such a fashion that he took handful coins first and then threw those in river and by repeating this way he threw all the coins. He looked the prince and said 'if those bags were filled with garbage, how would you have thrown that'. Prince replied that 'I should have thrown all bags at once'. Shaikh said that your heart is still keeping love for Dunya (World) in it. That is why you did not want that all should part you at once. You have thrown the coins by holding these by your hand in order that these might remain with you for another moment and that your hand might touch your beloved the last time lest it should part from you. I choose this punishment for you that you should go to the streets of Baghdad and beg for money. Thus, the prince remained in beggary for one year with a bucket in his hand. One year had almost passed that one day that prince attended the court of Shaikh again with his empty bucket and reported that 'Hazrat! I have roamed about the whole Baghdad today but none has given even apiece. All had been saying this that you are very shameless and idler, you are healthy and strong man, why should you not work by your hands and come at our doors daily and you have made the whole city dirty. Hazrat Shaikh said 'Okay. Now your test is over. Now you have come to understand the inhumane nature of the worldly people that they do not bother to donate even a piece of bread in the name of God Almighty. It is now hoped that if the wealth of the Name of Allah will come in your hand, you will be able to know it's worth and will not give this priceless pearl in the mouths of stupid dogs'. After that Hazrat Shaikh took him in his servant circles and that prince became one of the People of Waasileen with Haq.

These few memories have been recorded as sample to help the readers ascertain the total. The readers can well imagine that extraordinary Karamaat and astonishing miracles of the earlier Saints and Sufis and Faqeers of the Islamic World seeing which all the people of this age have become struck with wonder. So much so that starting from a beggar to every common and proper person fell their love and became their devotee will to shower his life and wealth on them and became the buyer of the precious pearl of the Marifat and Faqar. Faqeers of the ancient times also well acknowledged the value and worth of their much in demand stuff and considered it a great loss sharing it even for Lordship of the whole world. The Saalik Faqeers and the genuine owners of Marifat of that time were the real goldsmiths and traders of these red Spinels (gems) and precious gemstones. Moreover, the Seeker Mureed of that time were also single-minded in their Demand and were buyers of this dear valuable stuff in the price of heart, wealth and even both the worlds. Thus, they were also true models of that which has been said by Hazrat Ibne Yameen Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe wherein he has impressively portrayed the outline of the true Faqeers of past times.

ABYAAT (COUPLETS)

Simple bread of barely, saline water and simple dress and mat of jute Dervish and Faqeer feel just sufficient in this abode of world ,

And nothing more he should demand other than thirty Paras of the Holy Quran and Ahadees of Prophet for study,

Two or four beneficial books for the acquisition of Ilm of Deen are required, not the futile books of Bo Ali Sina and Ansari,

And a dark cottage, which does not even look for the light of sun, is sufficient to live and stay,

For companionship, one or two Mardaan of God of magnanimous courage (and guts), who give no worth to the domains of Nimroz and Sinjar more than a seed of half grain of barely,

He is blessed, who has such condition (and status) at which,

The demanders of the throne of Qaisar (Kaiser) and the searchers of the land of Alexander envy.
