Since the repression and abasement of the Nafs of the former class escapes their unnoticeable respect and honor of Allah, that is, in their worship, therefore, they continue it and they take pride in it and copy the Nafs and Satan by this. Even if His Sacred Essence, if, happens to come before them in some visible display, they will at once deny it.

On the day when it befalls in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able (68:42)

In brief, without the Waseela of the Murshid, the Self-conceit and tint like Pharaoh cannot eliminate and Nafs dies not.

Nafs cannot be killed except by the favor of the Pir ,

Firmly hold the hand this killer of the Nafs ,

Produce Kimiya from the handful clay of your body,

And kiss the threshold of a Kaamil Person for this purpose,

If you have become inchoate like alabaster or granite,

When you will go to a Master-of-Heart , you will become a gem,

Companionship of a moment of an Aulia-Allah ,

Is better than the unhypocritical worship of hundred years!

Seeker should compulsorily hold the hand of a Murshid Guide in the Course towards Allah Almighty as this cannot be avoided at all. Those people, who are just contended on their blindness considering their verbal declaration as everything and are pleased and happy in dark like a bat and the sun is not needed by them, they are disable and confined as their hearts are captured in the darkness of matter and wrapped in the hide of ignorance.

This Course cannot be traveled without the Waseela of Murshid.

Allah Almighty says: O you who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of approach (Waseela ) unto Him, and strive in His way in order that you may succeed (5:35)

Some people say that Waseela means deed of goodness but Allah Almighty is addressing the Believers that they should be mindful and righteous and should do Mujahida and Riyazat on His Course yet catch some Waseela besides all these. It becomes clear that Waseela is something other than Eimaan , devoutness and Mujahida which is specifically being ordered by Allah Almighty and is emphasizing upon it besides the Eimaan , Taqwa etcetera. Hence, it is found very clearly here that here Waseela does not refer to Eimaan , Ilm , virtue or pietism but it refers to the Murshid and the Kaamil Shaikh the Companion Guide on the Course of Lord. Thus, four things have been enjoined upon by Allah Almighty in the above verse. First, believing, second choosing Piety and Heedfulness, third seeking Waseela and fourth undertaking Mujahida. Hence, the order of Mujahida and Riyazat comes after you have sought Waseela. Some persons are those who, in the supposition and pride of Waseela and Intermediation, overlook the importance of 'action' and do not practically follow the religion considering their Murshid or a Religious Leader the Certification and Permission of their deliverance as Christians have crafted the notion of Confession (atonement) and the Shiites consider their mere participation and wailing in processions and gathering of 'Condolence (Tazea) and Mourning' in the days of Muharram the means of their eternal deliverance but that ripe crop of Ilm , Action, Taqwa and Mujahida which not in protection of the Waseela, it is burnt to ashes by the Satan with just one spark of ego and arrogance as was the case of his own ripe crop of great Ilm and Amal. In addition, relying just upon the Waseela in absence of Ilm , Amal and Mujahida pushes you in the ditch of ignorance. Thus, the Whole Path and the Beaten Course, thinner than hair and sharper than sword blade, leads in between these two extremes like Pul-Siraat and the cover of test and the blanket of the darkness of examination are covering it!
