This book is instructively
bright by the Ilm of the miracles and it manifests [the rare]
learning and Divine Mysteries certainly and surely. Books of some
(Sufi) Saints and authors are product of Ilhaam but this Faqeer
has got the word of Ilqa
(inspiration) in the form of this book from
the Qurb
of Allah
Almighty and the Hazoor of Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam, (which is higher Station)
beyond the Station of Ilhaam. That person, who will study
this book day and night [with pure sincerity and Yaqeen ],
study of this book will transform the unblessed and unfortunate
one into the blessed and fortunate one!
Allah is sufficient;
everything other than Allah is just lust (and greed)! This book neither expresses the Station
of the beginning of the Nafi (and) Asbaat nor does it tell the conditions
of the Ilm of Wardaat but only debates on the Anwaar of
the Essence of Lord . Because life
is with this very Essence of Lord and salvation
is with life. It has that Ilm
and those Verses
of the Noor of Quran, which are the ways
and means unto the Degrees of the highest. However, such Maratib of Fanaa-Fi-Allah
(Destruction in Allah) and the blessing
and welfare of the Qurb of Almighty Haq
comes [only] in the Share
of the Aashiqeen and the Waasileen with Lord.
ABYAAT (COUPLETS) If someone asks
me how to attain unto the Qurb
of Allah, I would say that
attach with that the One [Essence of Lord] leaving all creatures [the People-of-Dunya]
and every class, If you are the Master
of Intuition (and insight), do not see Him by the Outward
eyesight, If you could not
see Him [by the real eyesight], you are jealous and
a vindictive. Whatever I say, I say on certain grounds,
not in jealousy. And in some (Sufi) Orders, the carrion carcass of
the Dunya
(World) is gained by many persons through the excessive Riyazat
and in some Orders, the blossom fields and gardens of the Garden
through Taqwa and Riyazat but in the Qadiri-Sufi-Order,
[from the outset to the end] is [only] the teaching of the Marifat
of
Didaar of Lord. HADIS (Saying of the
Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat
Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam) As for him, who
has Lord
, has everything!
ABOUT THE ZIKR
OF Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
(AND NAFI AND ASBAAT): The Zikr
of Kalimah-e-Tayyeb is the superior
Zikr. It is the lamp of Selk-Salook
of the Qadiri-Sufi-Order. It has
three parts: 1. Through
Laaa-Ilaaha,
Nafi
is realized. This Nafi is completely for all that, which is besides
Allah. 2. Through the Ill-Allahu,
the Faqeer is Drowned
in the Wahdat and attains the Marifat
of Ill-Allahu. With it, the Noori body
gets that ability of flight that cannot be explained in words. He meets the Roohani
by this. 3. Through 'Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah (Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam is the Prophet
of Allah) is
achieved the Hazoori of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe
Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam which is the entirety
(and perfection) of the Faqar. However, just verbal recitation of the
Kalimah-e-Tayyeb, like a parrot, grants nothing except Sawaab unless
a Master of Kalimah-e-Tayyeb does not get the Seeker read it and
does not tell him its Depth because he, who recites it with the Depth,
reaches unto the highest degrees and gains this supreme blessing and thenceforth
he does not say it through tongue but hears its recital from his Qalb.

Sultan Bahu
Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe has said in his
Punjabi couplets that there is no better elixir for heart than the
Kalimah-e-Tayyeb. Only the Kalimah e Tayyeb is the most effective balm for the
heart. The Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
removes the corrosion of polytheism, Kufr
, greed,
desire, grudge, and vanity and jealousy etcetera from the heart and washes the
pollution of the filth of Dunya
(World) from heart. On the Day of Judgment,
the Zikr
of Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
will be diamonds and rubies and jewels and the
Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
is the outlet of Marifat
in the heart of the Arif
, which has
all balms and cures. O Bahu! Here and there, in both the worlds,
just the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
