SHARAH OF ZIKR

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

The first obligation amongst all obligations is the Zikr of Allah that is, Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah/there is none worthy of worship except Allah; Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam.

ABYAAT (COUPLETS)

Its very word is Kalimah and thousands of Zikr initiate from it,

Through its every word the Wahdat of the Darling is found,

Zikr leads unto Didaar of Allah Almighty,

And how can Zikr be without Didaar of Allah?

The Zikr of Allah Almighty is a Noor and it is without sound,

And only Intrepid-devotee Aashiq can carry the Zikr of Allah,

Only they, who are Absorbed in the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat), are Drowned into Didaar of Allah,

In addition, the eye of the Zaakireen is always fixed on Didaar of Allah Almighty.

Allah Almighty says: and remember your Lord when you have forgotten (18:24)

First, Zikr takes the Zaakir in the Mushahida of Allah Almighty. After this, the Zaakir forgets his self and Drowns.

Zikr is a Noor that leads unto Hazoori ,

How [can] the People of Arrogance be Zaakireen of Allah?
