239-240
He
says that 'each time Jibraaeel (Gabriel) Alaihis-Salaam
pressed my bosom with his
bosom, I felt so much
grave and enormous load that I could not be able to see earth and sky. When he
pressed for the last and third time and said 'Read', then the Surah
Iqra (96)
initiated (automatically) on my tongue with the recitation
of Jibraaeel
(Gabriel) Alaihis-Salaam'.
That
is,
Read:
in the name of your Lord, who created. Created man from a clot (96:1-2)
Iqra
Be-Ismi Rabbi-kalla-zee Khalaq(a). Khala-qal In-saana Min Alaq(in).
This
unique hour was of the Talqeen
of the Jibraaeel (Gabriel) Ameen Alaihis-Salaam
for the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat) because the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat) is as the likeness of a seed
and embryo for the Tree of the Holy Quran which was transferred from the bosom
of Hazrat
Jibraaeel (Gabriel) Alaihis-Salaam
to the blessed bosom of the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa
Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and that Seed of Quran germinated
into the Tree of Quran and then the Holy Quran initiated and became (involuntarily)
Current (as-initiated with effect) on his blessed tongue. However, due to the enormity and
heaviness of the Quran, he
became anxious and when he
returned to his house, he
said to Hazrat
Khadeeja Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anha that 'put a blanket
over me, put a blanked
over me'. Since, it is always
a rule that the eyes of a person temporarily feel flash blindness when
are exposed to flash light of high intensity and in order to stop this
intensity, he takes the protection of some veil and cover; therefore, he also did the same thing and
because of his wrapping
in cover and raiment of that blanket, he was addressed with the title of 'Muzzammil' in
the next event:
O
you wrapped up in your raiment (in order to cover against the intensity and
enormity of the Noor
of Quran)! Keep vigil the nightlong, save a little. And
half thereof, or abate a little thereof. Or add (a little) thereto and chant
the Quran in measure (73:1-2-3-4)
In
the same Surah
Al-Muzzammil this has come:
Recite,
then, of the Quran that which is easy for you (73:20)
This
is the Talqeen
of reading that much Quran which is easy for a person who
recites through the tongue of Nasoot
every night in Tahajud, as per his Taufeeq,
half night or less or more than it after leaving his bed. This is mentioning of
routine nights but Allah
Almighty has mentioned a special night in the Quran
known as Laila Tul Qadr (Night of Power) in which the whole Quran was sent
down all together.
*
And
that is the night of the Realm of Nasoot
that in which the Malakooti
and
Spiritual Muzzammil
of the Qalb
and Ruh
after casting off the raiment of Nafs
and earthly body, reads the Quran with the tongue of the Qalb
and Ruh
, then
the Noor
of the Quran is displayed with Malakooti
(of Malakoot) and Roohani
(Spiritual) power and glory and that Noor
becomes the victuals of the angles
and spirits and the Angels and spirits fall over this Qalb
which is full
and rich with this Quranic Noor
in a way as honey bees fall over their hive and
get their feed. This is that Power of Quran regarding which the Holy Prophet Sal
Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam has said that 'one glory of my reception of the Quran is
such that when it is delivered to me, such a sound is heard by me which resembles the humming sound of
honey bees'. In short, that descent of the Noble Quran is of the Night of Qadr
(Power) upon the Dawat
and recital of which the Angels and spirits
descend and appear before the reader and one rank and degree of this one night
is superior to many thousands other months.
Allah
Almighty says: Lo! We
revealed it on te Night of Power. Ah, what will convey unto you what the Night
of Power is! The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. The Angels
and the Spirit
descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees
(97:1-2-3-4)
Thus,
the way and manner of reading the Quran usually and with the Outward
body and
tongue should be that which has been mentioned in the Surah
Al Muzzammil.
However, special recitation
and the power of descent of the Noble Quran is that
which has been mentioned in the Surah
Al Qadr. In addition, the Sawaab
and
Degree of the Special Recitation
of the Quran is seventy thousand times higher
than usual recitation
of the Quran. That is, the former is reciting the Quran
with common recitation
for half a night whereas the recitation
of the special
night is superior to thousands of months. Now we make ordinary nights from this
special night.
