25-26 [ABOUT
REALITY OF RUH
(SPIRIT)] It
should remain clear that as per the Non-Muslim world, there are also three
states of matter that is, the solid, liquid and gas in human
body. That is
bones, flesh and skin etcetera are solid thing. Blood and water are liquids and
that air of breath which is spread inside, is gas. And this is an open fact that
there is great influence of the air in heart and lungs in the blood and on this
very air, that is, the blow of air the whole life and human
existence is
dependent upon. This is that very sequence of intake and outtake of air through
which the electrical impulse of the human
Spirit after generating from its
powerhouse terminates in the cells of the human
heart and brain and keeps the
machine of human
body warm, bright and running. Scientists, Chemists, Medics
and Doctors are unaware of the reality of this hidden electrical impulse. These
people call blood or its subtle temperature the Ruh
(Spirit). Nevertheless, if Spirit
were blood or temperature, then the human
being should have become living again
if his body is supplied air or heat after his death. Or otherwise, if the
Spirit
were just a temperate of the corporeal bulk, then it should have become
somewhat imperfect or feeble when some human
parts are cut off. Nonetheless,
this does not happen. Instead, Spirit
is a distinct (and unique) subtle and
invisible thing of the realm of command. It is an electrical impulse of the
Noor
of the realm of command which comes in and goes out of the human
body
through the chain of respiration after leaving the powerhouse of this mineral
of Anwaar
and keeps it living and thriving. Say:
the Spirit
is by the command of my Lord, and of knowledge you have been
vouchsafed but little (17:85) ? The
kingdom of creation, the realm of Witness or the (quarters of) tangible world
is the names of this corporeal material world. And the Realm of Command or the
Realm of Unseen or the Realm of Anfus
(intangible world) is the name of the
subtle invisible and spiritual realm. Allah
Almighty says: His
verily is all creation and commandment (7:54)
And
He is the Sustainer
and Lord of both of these subtle and dense realms and kingdoms. * At
another occasion Allah
Almighty says in respect to this Spirit: and have
breathed into him of My spirit
(15:29). Thus, that cipher and hint which is in 'breathing' the Spirit
in the corporeal body is, it clearly has implication to
this thing that the Spirit, which that 'breath' and blow, has been breathed into
the human
body, that is this very chord of Nafs
and the air of respiration
which enters and leaves the body of man in every breath. Reeh is an Arabic word
which means air and this word
'Ruh' (Spirit) has roots from this very word
Reeh
(Air). And the Nafas Bafatha Faa is the name of blow of breath and air and
the word
Nafs
Basakoon e Faa, is used in the meanings of 'soul' and Ruh.
Hence, it is revealed that the Ruh
and Reeh and Nafs and Nafasare two synonyms and words of same meanings
and both are two same things. This is because that the Ruh
has a close link and
Inwardly
relation with air and Ruh
(Spirit) is a subtle and invisible.
Consequently, the subtle jewel of the Spirit
has been tied in human
body with
the subtle tie of air. Or in other words, that the Wise and the Omniscient has
caged the subtle and the bird of the Lamakaan
in the dense frame and corporeal
cage of the human
being through the subtle tie of the air. Since Spirit
is the
most subtle thing of the Realm of Command, since its settlement and stability
in this dense world of matter was impossible except through subtle tie,
therefore, that the Absolute
Able One prescribed the medium and relation of the
most subtle thing of the elements of the material world and after putting this
very subtle string in the feet of the bird of the Lamakaan
, He caged it in the
cage of human
body. Thus, the Spirit
is confined in the human
body by means of
the air and blow of breath and through this very air of the breath and the
chord of respiration, the electric impulse of the Noor
, that is the spiritual
food and power and nourishment continues to reach it from the powerhouse of the
Realm of Command. There
is present a king of Spirit
in everything of world including inanimate and
animates and cattle and everything takes breath. But the inanimate Spirit
(Jamaadi Ruh), animate Spirit
(Nibaati Ruh) and the Spirit
of cattle (Ruh e
Haiwaani) and Human
Spirit (Ruh e Insaani) and Heavenly Spirit
(Ruh e
Malakooti) all are different because of the difference of the levels and
