when he remembers the Outsiders of Allah, since this remembrance is temporary,
therefore the Zikr
of all other things besides Allah
Almighty and thoughts
about these are contrary and conflicting with the human Qalb
and the original
caliber of the heart and distort the original caliber of heart and real natural
disposition of the heart. And moreover, for the heart, the remembrance of the
Outsiders acts like a Hijaab
of cloud and blur against the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat )
for heart. The quadruped like Nafs
, by remaining in the demand for his earthly
corporeal things of eating and drinking and other material necessaries all the
time keep on in the remembrance of these material things and the Outsiders of
Allah
and continues sending the remembrance of all these things of necessities
and the carnal desires alike and worldly Khatraat
to the heart. Thus, when a
secret
and unnoticeable conflict of the remembrance of these stranger elements
takes place with the original caliber and the real lifeblood of the thoughts of
heart which is the Zikr
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ),
these make the real natural caliber of the Zikr
of Allah contaminated and offended as a
result and do not let the Zikr
of Allah be effective in the heart. So, the
philosophy of the method of the Habs-e-Damm
and the Paas-e-Anfaas
is this that
the Zaakir
and the Saalik
should sit like a watchman and guardian on the gate
of heart that is the breath and respiration and should not let any Stranger
Outsider of Allah
that is the undesired thoughts pass through the heart and he
should keep this only the passage of the Zikr
of the Rightful Owner of the
chamber that is, Allah
Almighty as a Saalik
has said:
Nothing can stay in my heart besides the Beloved,
There is no opportunity for the Outsider to gasp in the Sanctum of the King, In
my heart such a King of the kings is displaying His Beauty,
That He cannot be contained in the land and sea if He decides to install His
Camp outside, Your
body, even if becomes as thin as hair is, It
will even then serve as Hijaab
for the Spirit,
There should be no room even of the size of a hair between the Aashiq
and the
Mashooq
,

The Account of many a thousand wise people is possible in second in the Decision
of the Great Assembly, But
for the Account of a second of the Aashiq
is not possible even in hundreds of
Great Assemblies! [*Hazrat

Chishti Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe]
Similitude
of the Zikr
of the Name-Allah-the-Essence
(Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) and thoughts of the Outsiders of
Allah
is as if there is a pond or water pool in a city containing sweet and Pure
(holy) water which is automatically filled by a water spring inside it but the Impure
(unholy) and dirty water of the city sewage falls in it. Then it is sure the
due to the mixing of the Outside Impure (unholy) and polluted water, the Pure
(holy) water of this pool will turn Impure (unholy), blurry, deadly and stingy.
If this Impure (unholy) and polluted sewage water is let fall in the pond for
some period like this and it is not stopped, it is certain that its unclean
sediment and mud will settle like a layer in the bottom of the pool and will
seal and shut the original springs and water outlets inside pool and in place
of a pool of fresh and sweet water it will become a pond of dirty and deadly
water. People drinking this water will become ill and dead. The same condition
is of the human heart. The Noor
of the Name Allah and the Zikr
of Allah is like the original spring of the
Elixir of Life in the heart and the commemoration of the Outsiders and the
sensual thoughts is a substance of darkness and shadows which mixes in the Pure
(holy) Elixir of Life through the channels of the Five Senses like a Impure
(unholy) and deadly water and makes the Zikr
of Allah which is the Elixir of Life to become
polluted, blurry and sealed and closed in due course. Thus, when the outlets
and vents of the heart are when kept safe against the channels of these
Stranger Thoughts through the Habs-e-Damm
and the Paas-e-Anfaas
and it is let
free on its own caliber and the natural disposition of the Zikr
of Allah, then it is sure that in
such heart burst the Inwardly
and Invisible springs of the Noor
of Allah
and on
such Zaakir
, the Mysteries
of Haq
turn open. Restrain
your eyes, ears and lips from the Outsiders of Allah, Then
you laugh at us if you do not find the Secret
of Haq! [Jalal
