Mashooq (Mashooq) literally means (ardent spiritual) Love. Ishq is that thing which burns and makes it naught from the heart every that thing which is of the Outsider of Haq (P184 Muhik ul Faqar Klaan). "It is a Latifa (subtlety) which takes birth from the light of heart. [Or you can say that] Ishq is a Fire whose fuel is Siyasat (strict administration of justice) and it takes birth from Salamati (peace). Or Ishq is a grass (creeper) which creeps around a tree." (P48-P91 Jamey ul Asraar). Ishq means killing ones own Nafs and his heart remains in ache day and night and receives wound by this (P130 Muhik ul Faqar Klaan).
