(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

That person, who identified his Nafs , identified his Sustainer. He, who identified his Nafs with Fanaa , identified his Lord with Baqaa .

Allah Almighty is identified through four Visualizations (and conceptions):

1.      First Visualization, the Visualization of Maut (Death)

2.      Second Visualization, the Visualization of Muhabbat endowed with Mushahida

3.      Third Visualization, the Visualization of Marifat endowed with ascension, which is honored with Didaar of the Provider

4.      Fourth Visualization, the Visualization of the Service in the Majlis of Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam.

That Murshid, who does not give Taleem and Talqeen to the Seeker for these four Visualizations in the very first day, is Unfinished Murshid. Incompetent for issuing Irshaad as Murshid and is Immature.

O dear! [The Ulema ] tell scholarly issues (concepts) pertaining to principles of Fiqah and study of the Haq (Truth) and Baatil of all Religious Scriptures but the Murshid Aalim-Bi-Allah Wali-Allah rightly shows the Taufeeq of the Marifat of Didaar and the Hazoori honored from the Qurb . The assemblage of the People of Ilm and the People of Marifat the Masters of Mushahida cannot be equal. Lo! Muhabbat for Allah Almighty is [the first] obligation, Tark (Abnegation) of Dunya (World) is Sunnat and Tark (Abnegation) of Nafs is Mustahib (Recommended) and keeping away of Satan is Waajib (Essential).

Seeking Ilm is the obligation on every male and female Muslim.

About this Ilm (knowledge), hint has been given in this sacred verse: "And (Allah will) those, who have knowledge, to high ranks" (58:11). Hence, what connection the People of Didaar can have with the Kimiya of gold and silver or Sang-e-Paaris or bringing Both-the-Worlds into their Tasarruf? (They need them not). That is just for the Jamiyat of the Nafs needed.

Murshid-e-Naqis demands one to sit in privacy and perform Chilla followed by Riyazat .
