149-150 Be
a free man, free from every bondage of world, Keep
away of bad wind and the bad people, Keep
yourself alive until you are safe from death, Die
(before death) and be happy forever. [Omar
Khayyam]
Those
people, who are unaware of the reality of the Nafs
, what will these poor
fellows know the secreted Secret
of the Sacrifice of Nafs
, wakening of the
Subtlety
of heart and the configuration of the Qiblah
of the Qalb
. Now,
the reason and justification of the killing of Nafs
is given here. Since the
Outward
seers (Materialistic people) Carnal Ulema
of Words, who are unaware of
the reality of the Nafs
, they demand the argument of Quran for every issue and
if the Quranic verse is presented, they give its such explanations and
justifications that are so strange and beyond wisdom. In the following verse is
found the definite order of killing-Nafs
. Allah
Almighty says: And
if We had decreed for them: Lay down your lives (that is, kill your Nafs
for
the cause of Allah) or go forth from your dwellings, but few of them would
have done it; though if they did what they are exhorted to do it would be
better for them, and more understanding; and then We should bestow upon then
from Our presence an immense reward, and should guide hen unto a straight path
(4:65-66-67)
Moreover,
the order and command of slaying Nafs
was given to the people of Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
(Moses) in punishment for their worshipping of the Calf of gold-and-silver
: Allah
Almighty says: And
when Moses said unto his people: O my people! You have wronged yourselves by
your choosing of the calf (for worship) so turn in penitence to your Creator,
and kill (the guilty) yourselves (Nafs). That will be best for you with your
Creator and He will relent towards you. Lo! He is the Relenting, the Merciful
(2:54)
* Although,
here there is open Order of killing the Nafs
yet the Outward
Seeing people who
are charlatan about the reality of their Nafs
, construe irrelevant illogical
reason in order to match it with their materialistic approach. However, they
try to spare their Nafs
behind their argument yet behead hundreds of thousands
of the people of Bani Israel in aftermath of their small mistake. How absurd
reasoning this is. Conversely, when Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
(Moses) returned from Mount Toor and was displeased with his brother Haroon Alaihis-Salaam
and cursed Samiri and burnt his calf down and threw the ashes into river. That
time, the Bani Israel repented over what they had done and were penitent
thereof. It has come in Hadis
that the person who is penitent and asks for
forgiveness, he is as if he has done no sin. Then, killing them with no
reason could be so unjust and unfair. On the other hand, Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
(Moses) took killing of a Kaafir
Qabti by hitting with a blow of fist a grave
sin and ask for forgiveness for this again and again and chances are that that
Kaafir
was worthy to be killed. And
he who was of his caste asked him for help against him who was of his enemies.
So Moses struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: This is of the
devil's doing. Lo! he is an enemy, a mere misleader. He said: My Lord! I have
wronged my soul, so forgive me. Then He forgave him. Lo! He is the Forgiving,
the Merciful (28:16-17)
Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam
(Moses) hit a person with his fist in order to save a person of his nation.
Although his intension was not of killing him but he died by chance. However,
Hazrat
Musa Alaihis-Salaam (Moses) considered this
mistake a big sin and called it a Satanic act and asked for forgiveness of Lord
again and again. Hence the paraphrasing of this king by the Outward
Seeing
people is the product of their unawareness regarding the reality of the Nafs
and they distort the clear verses of the Holy Quran by construing such
irrelevant explanations that have no relation with the real point and are
beyond understanding. Irfan (Volume 2) IRFAAN 2 pdf download Install app |
