Thus, they celebrated and enjoyed the occasion as they have obeyed the Orders of Allah Almighty. Eid ul Adha, in reality, is the Eid of those people who leave their homelands and families and bear pains and hardships of distant journey for their Pilgrimage of Allah's House, that is, the Khana-e-Kaba and Baytullah and offer their duty there. Thus, the Haji persons celebrate Eid for their success and good deed. All people take Ghusal (Islamic Bath), wear fine new dress and meet each other after spraying perfumes on their clothes and exchange greetings with each other on both Eidain. In fact, though, these Eids are a periodic ceremonies of this world but a big philosophy of Islam is behind these Eids which is a solid reality and is the original whereas the said demonstration on Eids is its copy and is virtual form. Those people, who have kept an indefinite Fast against total disobediences of Allah Almighty for their entire lives and have left this world with intact Eimaan , they will therefore, wear the Heavenly Raiment and priestly vestment (Hulla) and will meet their Momin brothers in the Paradise and will greet each other with congratulations of keeping the Eimaan intact till the last breath and will enjoy those bounties of the Heaven which no eye saw, no ear heard and no heart had thought about as:

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of AllahBook Hazrat MuhammadBook Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallamBook)

World is of one day and we are [is as if] are Fasting in it.

Book

That is, we have taken the whole span of life on earth as one day and we are keeping Fast against all those things which Allah Almighty has forbidden.

And the Eid ul Adha, which is also called Eid of Sacrifice, is the imitation of those intrepid-devotee heroes Aashiqeen of Lord, who risked their lives and wealth and held their head on their palms and after offering Sacrifice of their dear Nafs , had left for the Demand of their Real belovedBook Allah Almighty and were honored with seeing His Didaar during their stay on earth as Hazrat Mahboob e Subhani, Qutab e Rabbani, Ghaus e Samadani Hazrat Shaikh Muhyiddeen Sayyed Abdul-Qadir-Jelaani (Qaddas-Allah Sirru-hul AzizBook) has said:

All thanks for Allah that we arrived near the Friend before death,

Plaudits be upon our endeavors like a real Mard .

Book

That is why it is called Grand Eid that as compared to the Wisaal and Liqaa and Didaar of Allah Almighty, the Eden and its bounties are cipher.

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of AllahBook Hazrat MuhammadBook Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallamBook)

As for him, who has his LordBook everything is of him!

Book

He, who Demands Dunay (World), is called arrogant,

He, who Demands the Hereafter, is called 'Laborer' (for Reward),

He, who Demands Lord with the sore of love with Lord, is the Seeker of Lord,

This Demand makes him king like Muzaffar and Mansoor in both-the-worlds!

[Abu Saeed Abu al Khair]

Book

The seeker of Dunya (World) is Jaahil , the Seeker of the Hereafter is Aaqil (sane) and the Seeker of LordBook is Kaamil (Perfect).

Book

Account of many a thousand sane ones is possible in the Judgement of the Great Assembly,

But the Account of a trice of the Aashiq will not be possible in hundreds of Great Assemblies!

[Hazrat Khawaja Moeen ud Deen Chishti Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala AlaiheBook]

Book

Now here we disclose a little reality of the original and the imitation of the Eid of Sacrifice and the Hajj of the House of Allah. The start of the Hajj of the House of Allah started in this way that Allah Almighty showed Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis-SalaamBook (Abraham) His Baytul-Mamoor , that is, the Qiblah of Quloob which is the special Sanctum of Allah Almighty on the Heavens for building His House and Place of Worship on a specific place in Holy Makkah. Hint has been given for this in this verse:

Thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he might be of those possessing certainty (6:75)

Book

Therefore, Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis-SalaamBook (Abraham) copied that Model for erecting Khana-e-Kaba which became the first Place of Worship for people and its Hajj and Rituals thereof like Tawaaf and Sacrifice etcetera were made Obligation and 10th of Zilhajj was fixed for this which is in practice till today. Baytul-Mamoor is an Invisible Subtle Noori Station in Heavens which is a certain place all the time filled with Angels and day and night, the angles do Tawaaf around that place and remain busy in doing Worship and Hymn and Praise of Allah Almighty. This is the original whereas the House of Allah (in Makkah) is its copy where the pilgrims day and night do Tawaaf and recite Hymns of the Praise of Lord. Same as the soul and spirit continues with body, with every Outward is Inward and with the Realm of the Witnessed is an Inwardly Subtle world and the original of every religious practice is in the Unseen and all that which is being done in the Realm of the Witnessed is the copy and shadow of the original of the Realm of the Unseen .
