in terms of the Sufi
Saints. Such kind of unusual paranormal extraordinary powers are usually of two
kinds: Alwi
and Sifli. Miracles of the Alwi
Powers, since, become advent
through the means and medium of the Unseen Creation like Angel, Seraphs and
Sacred Spirits, Hence, we will mention these miracles at some other occasion.
We present such authentic historical witnesses of the three hundred years old
Sifli, yet, very rare, mystic and ravishing marvels of the people of past which
cannot be denied on grounds of authenticity through which a sound minded just
person can imagine that how lofty were the Esoteric Uloom
and Spiritual Powers
of the Ancient people. History is witness that some magicians and performers of
Bengal showed those astonishing marvels in the Court of King Jahangir by which
world is still stunned. The most surprising in these was the marvel of 'super
string and 'sky' by which the people of Europe are still perplexed (and
puzzled) and flabbergasted (and puzzled). In
the book 'Tuzk e Jahangiri' which was written his own era of Jahangir, it is
written that some (histrionic) jugglers and magicians of Bengal came to the
Court of Emperor Jahangir. The most amazing trick among other astonishing
tricks was that of 'super string and sky'. It is written that one of these
magicians approached near the Emperor and said 'one of my enemy has climbed
high up to the sky and I am going to fight with him on the sky through a super
ladder'. * 'By
the grace of the High Lord, I will kill him and come down with successes. He
stood a beautiful young girl near the throne of the emperor and said 'this is
my beautiful spouse. I give her to your highness as a trust to keep with you
until I return'. Thus, he threw a rope upwards and its upper end vanished and
that string suspended in air. That magician, equipped with arms, climber up
like a ladder and vanished from the sight of the spectators there. After a
moment, that string started vibrating and blood started falling down from the
sky. Spectators were seeing this amazing movement of the string and the fall of
blood with open mouths that all Haft Andaam, that is all the organs of the
magician started falling from sky near that rope one by one cut with sword and
covered with blood and at last his head fell on the ground. At this sight, the
wife of that magician cried and wailing she approached near the emperor and
said that that corpse was of her husband and the enemy has decapitated him on
the sky and has thrown him down cut into pieces and then she addressed the
magicians of her family to arrange pyre and other things for Cremation as she,
as his widow, will also burn with her husband's dead body on Pyre as a 'Suttee'
(or Sati).
