You are portraying yourself to be a Sufi,

That only you are him, who belongs to the realm of ascetic (worshippers) and the votaries,

Up till when you will remain in egoism and [this notion]?

When will you get rid of [the egoism] of this Dervish-like coarse jute wrap?

If you know Secret of self-conceit then follow the [beaten] path,

So that you may not say again that "this is I",

O Friend! Saying "I" does not appeal You,

As the Iblees said "I" and this is "I am",

Why do you speak "I" "I", O dear?

Because of this that you are a drop of semen [and yet] you say: this is "I".
