Liking for Dunya (World)¹ has been declared the root cause of all evils,

So that you may not believe it a grant [or favor].

That thing, which cannot get Baqaa, how can it be called "a grant",

You should not call that thing "a grant" that is deprived of Baqa,

Even if someone asks a less intelligent person, he will not call this Dunya (World) "a grant" and if he will, it will be a big mistake,

One should not love with this Dunya (World),

It is sin to love a sinful thing,

O companion! Never keep Liking for this [Dunya (World)],

Call not it "a grant", as instead it is a sinister.
