Alif Allaah parh haafiz hoiaa Na giaa hijaabon pardaa hoo

Parhh parhh aalim faazil hoiaa bhi Taalib hoiaa zar daa hoo

Lakh hazaar kitaabaan parhiaan Par zaalim nafs na mardaa hoo

Baajh faqeeraan kise na maarea (Hazrat Bahu ) Eh zaalim chor andar daa hoo

Here Hazrat Sultan Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe says that: 'O Seeker! You should learn how to read the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat) from the Murshid-e-Kaamil Faqeer so that your Nafs should die and your Qalb should become Living otherwise the Ilm itself becomes a Hijaab when a person memorizes the Holy Quran in his bosom and reads a lot of books and the Nafs becomes chubby with self-conceit and ego and remains away of Allah Almighty after it has drowned into the temptation and lust of Dunya (World). Hence, O Seeker! Self-conceit and Self-conceit of the Nafs does not end unless the companionship and guidance of the Murshid-e-Kaamil is availed as Maulana Roomi has said:

Nafs cannot be killed except under the Shadow of the Pir,

Firmly hold the sleeve of him who is the Killer of this Nafs.

When the Seeker has admitted a personality, that is, the Murshid-e-Kaamil superior and better than him then his Self-conceit dispels otherwise the Satanic Self-conceit and Self-conceit dominate his mind and the ricochet of Anaa Khairun Minhu 'I am better than him (7:12)' is always heard from his Inward as well as from his Outward.
