Let it be known that that the Martaba
of Fanaa-Fi-Shaikh (Destruction in Shaikh) is glorious and some
stupid people always get perplexed upon seeing the Martaba of Fanaa-Fi-Shaikh
(Destruction in Shaikh). Martaba of Fanaa-Fi-Shaikh (Destruction
in Shaikh) is this that the body of Shaikh should
become one with the body of Seeker. Word of the Seeker,
actions of the Seeker, Ahwaal of the Seeker, his
every excellence, his all merits, his appearance and stature - in short, the
Outwardly
and Inwardly
powers [and senses] should become like those of the Shaikh
and the entire body from the top to toe transforms into the body
of the Shaikh. As it has been said that "Shaikh gives life and
Shaikh
causes death" BAYT (COUPLET) This is a
condition for being Kaamil Shaikh that he should take the Seeker unto
his own level, And both the Shaikh
and the Seeker should stand equal on every Station. Lo! It is individual-obligation
and a greatest tradition for both the Shaikh and Seeker that
they should [always] keep their head downward with Sidq, absolute
sincerity and attachment (with devotional conation) before the
