Allah Almighty says: We offered the trust unto heavens and the earth and the hills but they shrank from bearing this and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. Lo! He has proved a tyrant and a fool (33:72)

[ATTAINMENT OF THREE THINGS IN MARIFAT]

There are three things in Marifat:

1.      Perseverance (in righteousness) (Sabr) in the hour of hardship

2.      Shukar (Gratitude) at the time of Grant

3.      Remaining glad (Raza) at the Qaza

That person, who claims having Marifat and the above three things are absent in him, then it should be understood that he is Untrue in his claim.

The writher [the Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Bahu Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe] says that:

All Maratib are seen like in the Clear Mirror through Marifat and the Master of Marifat not only gets the acquaintance with every Station and Martaba but he sees these as well. However, the origin of Marifat is the Noor. Through it the Hazoori is achieved by the Arif forever all the times. This Unremitting Hazoori by some is attained through Waham , which is of the Wahdaniyyat. By some through the Thought, which should be of the Qurb and Hazoori of the Wisaal of Allah. By some through Tawajuh , which is of the Taufeeq of the Tahqeeq (verification) of the Hazoori. By some through Fikr , which is the Fanaa-e-Nafs and is the Comfort (and solace) of the Ruh. By some through Visualization, which is of the Tark (Abnegation) and Tawakul that every day is the day of welfare for the blessed one and every time is the day of misfortune for the unblessed one and is the day is of worseness for the Kuffaar. By some through the Tasarruf because the Gaze of the Arif is upon both Worlds. By some through Haal (condition), by some through Qaal (utterance) that he has the acquaintance with every Martaba and every Wilayat (domain). These Maratib are of the Arif-Bi-Allah , Aalim , Arif and the Aalim-Bi-Allah and Wali-Allah.

It is laziness and sloth to wait for the Taufeeq of Allah Almighty,

You should take yourself unto the Destination in every way even without ease,

It is hard to fulfill a task in the low light of the candle,

Whatsoever you possess, you should spend that on yourself before dying,
