Faqeer always keeps on Inwardly
waging Jihad against Nafs and outwardly his Nafs is free.
The Inwardly Maratib of the Faqeer are [always] frequented
(and thriving). BAYT (COUPLET) This is not the Faqar
that you use to see ass, bull and cows (that is, when you are keeping carnal
desires in your heart), The gaze of
Faqar is superior to gold-and-silver. Curse be upon the People of Bidat, who
